A classic play comes alive on stage
Algernon Moncrieff, a typical English dandy, decides to woo Cecily, the young and pretty ward of his friend John Worthing, who is in love with Algernon’s cousin Gwendolen. Both gentlemen are quite confident that a few deceptions are quite healthy for a good romance – but chaos ensues when their deceptions lead to strange twists in their love stories.
This theatrical production is an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s iconic playThe Importance of Being Earnest. Sit back as they recreate this timeless comedy for you – watch this farcical comedy to be transported to a quintessentially Wildean take on the eccentricities of the Victorian upper classes.

It is scheduled to take place on May 21 (6 pm) at KEA Prabhath Rangamandria, 8th Main Road, Kamalanagar, Basaveshwara Nagar.
