Even though young actor Yash was announced as the leading man of the upcoming Gajakesari, directed by S Krishna, a long time ago, shooting for the film had been delayed. Now, we hear that the film will be officially launched in early June, following which, the cast and crew will head to Thailand for a schedule. According to a source, work on
Gajakesari was delayed because
Yash was sporting a certain look for his
Raja Huli (which is the remake of the Tamil movie
Sundarapandian), and had to maintain it till the film was completed.
Now that the K Manju production is all done with, Yash is ready to begin work on
Gajakesari.
The story of the film, we hear, requires a full-grown elephant, which the team have found in Thailand. Yash will be shooting with the pachyderm, a trained one, for 15 days in the forests of Thailand. Once they complete this schedule, the team will return home and then have an extended schedule across Karnataka.
Gajakesari, will be canned by ace cameraman Satya Hegde and has Amulya in the lead.
