Style and Substance: Top fashion moments of the week

It's been a week of glamour and glitter as far as the Kannada Film Industry is concerned and celebs have left no stone unturned in presenting their best selves to us patrons. While some decked up for a starry awards night and red carpet walkabouts, the others posed with fervor for some dazzling photoshoots. The results, either way, are absolutely mesmerizing as the fashion bar gets cranked further high this past week.

Dhanya Ramkumar wore a stunning peach gown for her big awards night and dazzled everyone around with sheer grace. As someone who often experiments with fashion sensibilities - be it Indian or western - Dhanya carried the heavy piece with great ease and elegance as she made many a head turn her way. The young actor will soon make her debut with Suraj Gowda's 'Ninna Sanihake', and judging by the pre-release talk, she will be in the reckoning for quite some time.

Known to gladly embrace the black hue because of her love for goth-rock, Shruti Haasan has never been anything less than an enchantress when she has donned the color. Here, she seamlessly blends the two loves with the shimmery black saree and prominent goth elements like the choker necklace to display a unique yet ravishing side to her. With sister Akshara too being an absolute stunner in her deep black ruffle saree, the night is sure to be the most seductive.

Of all the male actors in the Kannada Film Industry, Prajwal Devaraj has the most unique and alluring style game. Be it through his casual wear with which he often blends in hues of neon or his formal attires which bring out the charm and smoothness in him, there's a wide range of shades at the display as far as his style game is concerned. In the first of the two pictures above, he puts on a superb orange suit with a funky button strap across the coat lapel. On the right, he lets his hair down, quite literally, to show off the luster that also exists in his black suit.

There's no extra adornment here, mind you, as her self-assurance suffices all the beauty needs.

One of the hottest actresses around, Nabha Natesh's fashion game has always been on point, and to a stunning effect. Here, she slips into a metal brown sequined dress and complements the red-lit room with her own oomph and hotness. Nabha, a true-blue Kannadiga, is now one of the most sought-after in the Telugu Film Industry with a slew of offers coming her way.

Sruthi Hariharan's love for the saree doesn't go hidden as her social media feed bears a solid testament to the fact. For the recent awards show, Sruthi treated the fashion matters in a simple yet elegant way as she draped a gorgeous gold-bordered yellow cotton saree. Embellishing the look with some fine handcraft jewelry and traditional hair-do, Sruthi Hariharan made the picture perfect with her radiant smile.
