Slew of announcements, this Ganesha festival to be super special for Sandalwood fans

Brace yourselves as Sandalwood stars are aligning, quite literally, to entertain their fans this festive season. September 18th has always been very special for Kannada film buffs as not just one, but three megastars celebrate their birthdays on this day - Upendra, late Vishnuvardhan and Shruthi. And this time, with Ganesha Chaturthi falling on the same day, filmmakers have packed up plenty of entertainment to unleash it all on September 18th.

Ghost team will release the first single from the film. Director MG Srinivas says that the songs in the heist-thriller are situational and will have ‘mass tunes

UI
It is indeed a festival for Uppi fans, for, the actor will be turning 56 this Monday. Also, the much-awaited teaser from his upcoming directorial, UI, will be out in Urvashi theatres at 2pm. The teaser will be out on YouTube the same evening at 6.30pm. Shivarajkumar will release the teaser of the film

Kaatera
Teaser of Darshan’s most-expected project, Kaatera, will be out on Monday on YouTube. A period drama, Kaatera also marks the filmy debut of Malashree’s daughter Aaradhana

Bheema
Bad boy - a ‘psych’ song, the first single from Vijay kumar directorial Bheema will be out on Monday. The team is also planning to announce the release date of the film on the same day.

Totapuri -2
Multi-starrer Totapuri will hit the screens soon, and hence, the team has roped in Shivarajkumar to release the teaser of the film on Monday. Totapuri, directed by Vijayaprasad, boasts of stars like Jaggesh, Aditi Prabhudeva, Dhananjaya, Suman Ranganath among others

Andondittu Kaala
It’s a double celebration for Aditi Prabhudeva fans! The Vinay Rajkumar-Aditi starrer, Andondittu Kaala, which was in the box for a long time, might finally see the light of the day as the team is planning to release the teaser on Monday at 9.14am.

Yash 19
There’s a strong buzz that Yash 19 announcements might finally happen this Ganesha festival. There is no confirmation from the team, but knowing Yash, he might actually throw in a ‘googly’ for fans!
