Shivarajkumar, Darshan, Rakshitha mourn the death of producer Ramu

On Monday evening, Sandalwood learnt about the shocking and untimely demise of producer and distributor Ramu. He succumbed to Covid 19. Ramu, who was married to super star Malashree, was a producer in the film industry for three decades and has made over 30 films during this time. He has been credited to be the first of the new age producers who thought of the big canvas and made big budget entertainers.A lot of celebrities took to their social media pages to share their condolence messages to his family.
Shocked and extremely saddened to hear this news.. was always great working with you.. a very kind and humble human being and a great producer also... will miss you

Koti Ramu, one of the most respected and well-known producers in the Kannada film industry, is no more. I pray that his soul rests in peace and also pray for strength for his family to cope with this big loss.

I am unable to believe that producer Ramu is no longer with us. He has had an association of 30 years with our family and I've worked with him in three films, the last being Arjun Gowda that is yet to release. His passing is an irreplaceable loss to the Kannada film industry. I pray that God gives his family members the strength to cope with the loss.
