Sandalwood’s girls just want to have fun

The first Vanity Trunk Sale by Kannada actresses, was a hit. Held on Sunday, everthing was sold out in less than an hour, with the girls collecting over a lakh from the sales that they will donate to three NGOs today — on Children’s Day. “It was overwhelming to see people wait patiently for half an hour outside the space with a minor delay in our opening,” says Sruthi Hariharan, who conceptualized this idea.The girls also patiently posed for pictures.
They cut a cake and bonded over cupcakes after wrapping up the sales and some of them even deciced to make a merry Sunday out of it by heading to celebrate it with an after party. What we couldn’t help but smile at was how Samyuktha Hegde sweetly said she couldn’t head to the hotspot for the party as she’s under the legal drinking age! Aww, now isn’t that a nice example to set?
