Ragini Dwivedi injured
Ragini Dwivedi, who has been signed up for Dandupalya director Srinivasa Raju’s upcoming Kannada project with Upendra, has been training hard for her role, given that her character will be involved in a lot of action sequences. On Tuesday, the actress was spotted sporting a crepe bandage on her right knee, after injuring it during a strenuous training session. While Ragini was advised bed rest and warm compressions on the knee, the actress has not been able to take rest, given that she is gearing up for the first schedule of the film that is to be shot in Thailand.

“An injury like this doesn’t stop me. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” says Ragini, when asked about the severity of the injury.
While Ragini has always maintained that she plays an important role in the film she also let slip that her character has ties with the Mafia, which is why she has action sequences. The actress also told us that she is very excited about her look in the film, which she says, is a never-before-seen kind of image for her. She hopes to release the first look for the benefit of her fans on her micro-blogging page, once she starts shooting next week.
The film, meanwhile, continues to be in a title controversy, following protests over its promotional material. Currently called
Basavanna, it was reported that the makers were changing it to Brahmanna or even going without a title.
