Rachita Ram bags Nagashekar’s next

Filmmaker Nagashekar has already begun work on his next Kannada film after the recently released Amar. Called Sanjay alias Sanju, the film, he says, will be a heartwarming tale, like his earlier movies, Sanju Weds Geetha and Mynaa. Nagashekar has signed up Rachita Ram as the leading lady, while the male lead is yet to be finalised.
“Rachita is on board. We will begin this film later this year and are currently on the hunt for the male lead.It is going to be a love story that is high on emotional quotient,” says the director. Quiz him if this is going to be a revival of the Sanju Weds Geetha sequel that he had announced a few years ago with Kriti Kharbanda and himself in the cast and he says, “No, this is going to be a completely different subject. The only aspect that will remain common to both stories that I wrote is that the heroine is visually challenged. There is no connection between Sanju Weds Geetha and Sanjay alias Sanju.”
