The upcoming Puneeth Rajkumar film Ninnindale, also starring Erica Fernandes, is said to have some high-octane stunts that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Having shot large portions of the film in Bangkok, the film’s team is especially happy about stunt sequences canned under the guidance of Bangkok-based stunt master Kecha Khamphakdee.

Kecha, who has directed stunts for several Bollywood films in the past, says that he not only enjoyed shooting with the whole team, but was also impressed with Puneeth’s courage and determination. “Puneeth is a fast-learner. He makes every effort to do the stunts himself. He’s probably one of the bravest actors I have ever met,” says the stunt director.
Talking about the most dangerous stunt that he choreographed for the film, Kecha says, “I had to direct a sequence in which one of my stuntmen had to be hit, burnt and kicked off a high-rise and ensure that he falls on the exact spot we had marked, without wire work. It was extremely challenging, but also one of my most unforgettable stunts.”
However, was it difficult for the team to shoot in Bangkok considering there was a state of emergency declared and a lot of protests around the time they were there? “No, we did not face any problem during the shoot. In fact, everything went off well because the film’s team was extremely hardworking and cooperative,” says Kecha. Ninnindale, produced by Hombele Films, is currently under production
