Poonam hopes that Kolkata will not be a repeat of Bangalore

The last time strip queen Poonam Pandey was in Bangalore, she had a horrific experience. The starlet, who is all set to make her Sandalwood debut with an item number in the upcoming film Love is Poison, had been brought in to perform at a New Year party in the city.
But despite her personal security, gunmen and the security provided by the organizers, a group of drunk men chased her to a room, prompting her to later release a statement that she was nearly molested and that the men were thinking with only one part of their anatomy.
"It was scary. I can never forget that. I can't blame the organizers because they tried their best to keep me safe. My only worry now is that I am slated to perform in Kolkata on February 1st and I am hoping that it won't be a repeat of Bangalore," says Poonam, adding that the incident has not put her off Bangalore. "I want to come back, perhaps to promote Love Is Poison, given that the hero died tragically last year."
