Manchu Manoj n has shown that being associated with a product by director Pavan Wadeyar can certainly do one a world of good. The actor has delivered his biggest hit, Potugadu, which is a remake of the 2012 comedy-drama Govindaya Namaha.Potugadu’s producer Lagadapati Sridhar said that the film has already made the kind of money in its second week of release that most Manoj films make in 100 days after the release.
Looks like Manoj has Pavan to thank for the much-needed boost to his career.
Pavan debuted as a director with
Govindaya Namaha, which starred Komal and
Parul Yadav. He also penned the lyrics for the song
Pyarge Aagbittaite, which got more than 1,500,000 hits on
YouTube in less than a week of its release.
Times Of India had called the film “a complete mass entertainer” and that “with excellent dialogues and music, director Pavan Wadeyar has put the right step forward in his first movie”.
