Nora Fatehi issues apology after Sarke Chunar row; her promise now goes viral
Following the backlash last month over the suggestive lyrics of Sarse Ninna Seragu Sarse from the film KD: The Devil, which also released in Hindi as Sarke Chunar Teri, the National Commission for Women issued notices to several people associated with the song, including Nora Fatehi, Sanjay Dutt and the makers of the film. While Sanjay Dutt appeared before the commission on April 27 and apologised for any unintended offence caused, Nora reportedly appeared on Thursday in compliance with the notice issued to her.Meanwhile, speaking to us, Suprith of KVN Productions said the makers had already appeared before the commission in Delhi last month. “We were asked a few questions, and we have provided all the answers. As for the song, we have removed it and it is no longer part of the film,” he said.
