Nirup Bhandari talks about his favourite films of all time

Actor Nirup Bhandari, who is working on his next Window Seat and will be seen playing a guitarist in the film, is a huge movie buff. In a quick chat with us, the actor shares his five favourite films of all time.
1. Nagarahavu: Directed by Puttanna Kanagal, this is one of my favourite films. The character portrayed by Vishnuvardhan sir is iconic. Not just his character, but all the characters in the film are extrememly good.
2.Beladingala Bale: Anant Nag sir is one of my favourite actors. This film has a very unique subject and the screenplay is excellent.
3. Raging Bull: I am very fond of Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro combination and the kind of films they make. One such film is Raging Bull. Robert plays a boxer in this film and the way he performs is great. The way he transforms himself is very inspiring.
4. In the name of the Father: After I saw a film of Daniel Day -Lewis, I was serious about taking up acting. I began watching his other films and stumbled across this film. It's based on a true story and has a very powerful performance by Daniel. To prepare for the role, he actually went to a jail cell and stayed there.
5. Rang De Basanti: I had watched this film when I was in college. I was an aspiring actor then and this film inspired me a lot. The way they blend the past and the present, the screenplay and execution, everything is brilliant.
