Marathi actor Shayaji Shinde returns to Kannada films

Bollywood’s character artist and Marathi film actor Shayaji Shinde of Sarkar Raj fame, who was last seen in the Tamil film Settai, is not new to Kannada. He has played a couple of intense roles in films like Malashri’s Veera, Upendra’s Arakshaka, Puneeth Rajkumar’s Pokiri and Shivarajkumar’s Lava Kusha.
While a lot of his roles down south may have depicted him as a villain, this time around Shayaji returns to Kannada films in a comic role.The actor has begun shooting for comedy star Komal’s Lodde. “Shayaji plays my grandfather in this film. It has elements of comedy, it is a fun relationship and one that will have people in splits,” says Komal.
