Mammootty shooting in Bangalore

Malayalam superstar Mammootty may not have signed up for another Kannada film since his debut Shikari, but the actor has been a regular visitor to Bangalore, either for personal or work-related matters. The actor's daughter lives in Bangalore and his family runs a birthing centre in the city. That apart, films also bring him here often. In fact, Mammootty is currently in Bangalore to shoot for director VK Prakash's next, which is as yet untitled.
The actor took to his social networking page to announce the new film, "Joined VKP's movie today at Bangalore, the garden city . Yet to be titled, the film will have pallavi menon as the female lead," he wrote, accompanied with a picture of the threesome.
Incidentally, VK Prakash is quite the Bangalorean and has, in the past, even made a Kannada film -- Aidondla Aidu, which he later remade in Malayalam as Poppins. Now it remains to be seen if he will make his new film in Kannada as well.
