Maanikya makers plan mega 100 days celebration

On August 8, Sudeep will have reason to smile, since his latest blockbuster Maanikya will celebrate a 100-day run at the box office. Although it is still a month away, makers of the film are confident that Maanikya will make it to the 100-day mark, which is why they are in the midst of planning a mega celebration to mark the event.
Sources have revealed that producer N Kumar is busy planning the celebration that will take place on August 8.The movie is still being screened in around 20 theatres across the state, and Kumar is certain that at least 15 of those theatres will screen the movie till next month.
Maanikya was reportedly made on a budget of close to Rs 20 crore, and it broke even in the first 50 days of its release. Sudeep directed and starred in the movie, and Kumar has given all the credit for the success of the movie to the actor-director.
