'KoKo' to be remade in Telugu

Director Chandru���������s KoKo Koli Kothi, which starred Srinagara Kitty and Priya Mani in the lead, is headed to Tollywood.
���������When we made the film in Kannada, the plan was to always have a Tamil and Telugu version. We are currently remaking it in Telugu. To be called Tikka, this will mark Kitty���������s Tollywood debut,��������� says Chandru.
The team of KoKo has already reshot for major portions of the film, says lead actor Kitty. ���������I was not very eager to do a Telugu film, but the makers thought that the script suited Tollywood audiences as well. They are very confident it will work. Let���������s see, I���������m just giving it a try,��������� says Kitty.
According to Kitty, local artists from Tollywood have also shot for the film. ���������We will soon be shooting for an item number, which Sanjjannaa had done in the Kannada version,��������� he says.
