IPS officer D Roopa makes her debut in Sandalwood

Senior IPS officer D. Roopa has taken her first steps into the world of showbiz by singing a track for the movie 'Baahilata Bhimanna' directed by Ramachandrappa. The song has lyrics by 'Kempane Kanda' and is composed by Shamita Malnad.
Speaking about foraying into the film industry, she said that since childhood, she has been interested in singing and even learned 'smooth music'.Saying that she boldly sang for this movie track, Roopa said that as a child, she used to sing songs from Ravichandran's movies.
Life came around full circle for the aspiring talent as she says that she is very happy that Ravichandran has released the song which she sang.
Currently, D. Roopa is serving as the Inspector-general of police Railways. She has experience in singing, as she has sung in many competitions.
