I didn't have reservations: Sudeep
Sudeep, who is normally apprehensive after seeing a first edit of a film, is excited about he saw of his next, Vishnuvardhana.
Fresh from the success of his last release Kempegowda, Sudeep's busy shooting for SS Rajamouli's Eega in Hyderabad. And while the actor is enjoying his stint on the sets of the film, he's most excited about the filmmaker's tweets on his micro-blogging page about the actor's work in Eega.

When Sudeep agreed to work on the film, the filmmaker tweeted, "Sudeep agreed to act in Eega as antagonist. Loved his style in Rann. Finally Eega is moving forward.Am very excited." And days later he followed up with, "Seen Sudeep's acting prowess today on the sets. What screen presence! What an actor! Damn good to have him in Eega."
"It is very humbling for an actor when a filmmaker like Rajamouli makes such statements, especially when he's not known to do so," says the actor who has just returned to Hyderabad for a new schedule of the film.
Is he happy with the success of Kempegowda? "Success is quite a relief, but I don't have to celebrate and rejoice. I am just doing my job," he says. But there must be a feeling that his hard work has been recognised. "Everyone works hard, it's just that you never know what is right and wrong. That is the irony of the industry. You take up a script because it excites you at that point. So it is not about hard work, it is about doing what is right," he adds.
Meanwhile, the actor's next release, Vishnuvardhana, which is nearing completion, is shaping up well. "Normally when I see a first edit, I have reservations. But with Vishnuvardhana I didn't. I liked what I saw. It is an out and out entertainer," he states.
