Actress Harshika Poonacha, who was last seen on the silver screen in the movie Udgharsha, has signed a female-centric project Om Love, which will have Kwatle star Partha in the lead role.
Om Love, directed by Adhavibhavi Sharan, is produced by Ram Preeth. The film team, which had completed 40 per cent of the shoot, approached Harshika Poonacha to play a prominent role in the movie.
When the character was narrated to Harshika she agreed to be a part of the project. As the government has given a green signal to start shooting, the team is working out plans to begin. The dialogues have been written by lyricist and director Ghouse Peer and the music is composed by Jassie Gift. Srikanth, who had worked on KGF, is the editor. Actor Danny Kuttappa will be seen in a predominant role.
Meanwhile, Harshika did her bit for the migrant workers who stayed in Palace Grounds by distributing essentials like groceries, packed food, water bottles, pillows, toothbrushes, soap, sanitary pads and blankets in the first week of June. She also appealed to the people to do their bit for the needy in their surroundings. She also featured in the song Badalaagu Neenu Badalayisu Neenu which was conceptualized and directed by Pavan Wodeyar. The song sponsored by the
Karnataka state government and health department, aims to spread awareness about
Coronavirus and was recently released online. The eight minute song, which has lyrics penned by Pradyumna Narahalli, is crooned by
Vijay Prakash, V Harkrishna and Rajesh Krishnan.
