Gajakesari, which stars Yash and Amulya, was launched on Wednesday morning at the Ganapathi Temple near Modi Hospital in Bangalore. The film will be directed by ace cinematographer S Krishna of Mungaru Male fame. The launch of film Gajakesari was delayed because Yash had to sport a moustache for Raja Huli and needed to complete a few portions of that film first. The
muhurat of the film was a low-key affair, with only the cast and crew of the film in attendance.
Yash, Amulya, Krishna, cameraman Satya Hegde and associate director Tarun Sudheer were among few who were present on the occasion.
The shoot for the film will commence soon in Thailand and the team will leave for the country shortly.
Earlier, there was some confusion about producer Jayanna’s films
Gajapati and
Gajakesari.
Gajapati was announced earlier this year with
Duniya Vijay in the lead. But soon afterwards, the director of the film Krishna announced that Vijay had been replaced by Yash and the film’s title had been changed. The rest of the cast and crew will, however, remain the same.
