Exclusive: I watched films like Barfi and Sadma to prepare for Love 360: Rachana Inder

Henge Naavu girl Rachana Inder seems to be pacing her career by choosing varied performance-oriented roles. The proof is her latest, director Shashank’s Love 360, that is set to release this weekend.
"I am excited to work with Shashank sir, as he writes good female characters. My role in this film is of someone who has a slight mental disability, but the world around her seems to have labelled her as a madwoman.She falls back on her man, who, for her, is her saviour. The story revolves around the two of them," says Rachana.
The actress invested a lot of time in preparation for the role. "I underwent a workshop to get into my character. Shashank sir asked me to watch some movies to understand how different actors got into the skin of their characters. That include Priyanka Chopra in Barfi and Sridevi in Sadma," reveals Rachana.

Recently, Rachana won applause for her performance in Harikathe Alla Girikathe. "I got many offers, but everything was similar to the role I essayed in Love Mocktail - a young, energetic and bubbly girl. I want to try something different, which I got with Harikathe Alla Girikathe and Love 360. I am consciously trying to choose roles that give me more scope to perform," she says, adding that she's in the process of signing a few new films.
