His last release, Nam Duniya Nam Style -- a fun film about a bunch of youngsters that was shot abroad -- did not set the box office on fire. Which is probably why director Preetham Gubbi has been pretty tight-lipped about his upcoming Kannada film Dil Rangeela. Apart from the occasional tweet about shooting in Goa or sharing the teaser of the song 30 60 90 from the film, Preetham has not been very forthcoming about information pertaining to his Ganesh and Rachita Ram-starrer. The audio of the film, we hear, will be released on Saturday, February 8. The filmmaker himself took to his micro-blogging page to announce the same, saying that the music from
Dil Rangeela will be available in the market on Saturday. The songs for the film have been composed by
Arjun Janya, and Preetham has been tweeting that he is excited about the music.
Dil Rangeela will be the third collaboration between Preetham Gubbi and Ganesh. Preetham had collaborated with Yogaraj Bhat for the story and screenplay of Ganesh's blockbuster
Mungaru Male. Subsequently, Preetham directed Ganesh in
Maleyali Jotheyali and the duo is hoping that their pairing will be successful again.
