Bhajarangi Loki roped in to play negative character in Salaar

Actor Saurav Lokesh, popularly known as Bhajarangi Loki, after his shrewd role in Shivarajkumar-starrer Bhajarangi, has now been roped in to play a negative role in Prashant-Neel and Prabhas’ Salaar. The pan-India project already has Sandalwood actor Pramod of Premiere Padmini and Ratnan Parpancha fame and Achyut Kumar in pivotal roles.

Sources close to the team confirmed that the actor has shot for a week for the film in Bengaluru and is now currently in Hyderabad finishing his portions. Loki is said to have been shooting for almost 45 days now, which can only indicate that the actor has a chunkier role in this pan-India project.

Loki is a well-known face in the Telugu industry and this move comes as a big break for the actor. He was previously seen along with Chiranjeevi Sarja and Ram Charan in Acharya. The pan-India multi-starrer cinema, Salaar, already has Jagapati Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles.

The movie, which marks KGF director Prashanth Neel’s debut in Telugu, is in the last phase of the making. A bunch of talents from Sandalwood - Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda, Composer Ravi Basrur, Art director Shivakumar, are already a part of this Tollywood project.
