Ranveer Singh is currently riding high, both in his career and personal life. Several media reports suggested that his long-standing dispute with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment over 'Don 3' has finally been resolved. According to these reports, Ranveer and the production house had reached an amicable settlement months after his exit from the much-anticipated third installment of the franchise.

Another insider associated with the production of Pralay, which has yet to be officially announced, dismissed reports of Excel Entertainment’s involvement in the project. The source revealed that while Ranveer is likely to step into production under his new banner Maa Kasam Films, the film is currently backed by Sameer Nair’s Applause Entertainment and Hansal Mehta’s True Story Films. For those not in the know, Ranveer had exited Don 3 earlier this year, shortly after 'Dhurandhar' turned into a blockbuster. The decision was reportedly driven by creative disagreements over the script, prompting him to shift focus toward completing patchwork on 'Dhurandhar 2'. Excel Entertainment sought compensation and filed a legal suit against Ranveer after his exit from the project, citing extensive pre-production work that had already been initiated with his approval.
