The film opens in a documentary-style format, with people describing brutal murders they have witnessed and speaking about the underworld with visible fear. A line appears early on: “All rowdies end up in the graveyard.” The story then introduces a contrasting idea that sometimes a rowdy’s story begins from the graveyard itself. This statement sets up the central theme of the narrative.

The early scenes depict a violent underworld where murders happen either for personal revenge or professional reasons. Devraj, also known as Devi or “Police Devi,” is introduced as a feared figure. During a day out, he notices a boy harassing someone and publicly beats him, warning him not to repeat the act. The humiliation triggers the boy’s ego, and he plans retaliation with his friends. However, before they can act, Devi is killed in broad daylight. Investigation reveals that another gang had already murdered him, highlighting the chaotic and unpredictable nature of this world.

The focus then shifts to Nakshatra, the protagonist. He works under Chandranna and is shown as fiercely loyal. His closest friend is Dhruva, and Bhoomi is his girlfriend. As the film progresses, Nakshatra’s past is revealed: he was raised in a graveyard as a child. After stepping into the outside world, he becomes a feared and wanted rowdy. His transformation forms the emotional core of the story.

The narrative is packed with numerous rowdies, each with separate motives and backstories explaining how they entered the underworld. Conflicts, betrayals, revenge plots, and brief romantic subplots run parallel throughout the film. Multiple perspectives are presented, especially toward the climax, leaving the fate of one character unresolved. The use of different versions of events adds to the confusion rather than clarity.

The screenplay is complicated and cluttered. Too many characters and subplots compete for attention, making it difficult to follow the central thread. Scenes shift rapidly between murders, conspiracies, and emotional moments without smooth transitions. The structure feels messy, and the pacing suffers as a result.

Performances remain average, with limited emotional depth. The heavy focus on violence and constant introduction of new characters overshadow meaningful development. Overall, the film attempts to portray an underworld saga but ends up feeling overcrowded and disorganised, making it hard to stay engaged throughout.
