Plot: Deepak’s (Ravikiran) life takes a serious turn when he falls in love with a girl, and gets entangled with a ruthless moneylender. Can he find his way out?

Review: Two friends, Deepak (Ravikiran) and Suleiman (Suraj) share a room. Deepak, desperately in need of money, borrows a loan from a financier, but when the repayment date arrives, he is nowhere to be found. In his absence, the financier takes Suleiman as ‘mortgage’ and asks Deepak to return the money in exchange for Suleiman. Will Deepak repay the money? What has his love story got to do with this, forms the crux of the film.

While the film starts as a crime drama, it takes a humorous turn towards the end. It also detours as a drug mafia story in between, which can confuse the audience. The underlying message of the film emphasises that taking the wrong path to earn money can lead to unexpected consequences. The film, though rich in visuals, lacks detailing in the storytelling, causing some confusion for the audience. The making and visuals in the film are praiseworthy. The cinematography is commendable. The music doesn’t stand out.

Lead actor Ravikiran delivers an impressive performance, especially in action sequences. Sukanya Girish, Suraj, Neenasam Ashwath have done a decent job. Director Nag Venkat shows potential. The film can be enjoyed in theatres once.
