Sukanya Girish is set for her debut as a leading lady in Kailasa Kasidre

Times Fresh Face winner 2019 and budding actress Sukanya Girish is all set to make her debut as the leading lady with her next Kannada film, titled, Kailasa Kasidre. The actress, who had a minor role in the Ramesh Aravind-starrer Shivaji Surathkal; Ranagiri Rahasya, says that she is excited about making the transition to leading lady. "I am thrilled to be a part of Kailasa Kasidre, a thriller rom-com, in which I play a bubbly character.I am paired with Vybhav of Tarakasura fame, in the film directed by Nag Venkat. We are currently in the last schedule of filming," says Sukanya.
What sort of preparation did she have to undergo for her role? "Well, I am a lot like the character I am essaying, so playing her wasn't all that tough, But I had to take some dance lessons for the film, even though it is a thriller. There is, of course, romance and with that comes songs in which I dance," adds Sukanya.
