‘KGF: Chapter 2’

The biggest blockbuster in Kannada cinema history, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ turned into a worldwide sensation upon its release in 2022. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action-packed sequel stars Yash in the iconic role of Rocky Bhai. The film also features Sanjay Dutt as the menacing villain Adheera, along with Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj in key roles. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, mounted on a massive scale, the film’s gripping narrative and powerful performances helped it earn around Rs 1,215 crore globally.

‘Kantara: A Legend - Chapter 1’

The prequel to the blockbuster ‘Kantara’, this ambitious mythological drama further expanded the cinematic universe created by Rishab Shetty. Directed by and starring Shetty himself, the film dives deeper into the folklore and traditions of coastal Karnataka. With grand visuals and rooted storytelling, the film reportedly collected around Rs 851.89 crore at the global box office, making it one of the most successful Kannada films ever.

Released in 2022, ‘Kantara’ became a cultural phenomenon across India. Written, directed and headlined by Rishab Shetty, the film also stars Sapthami Gowda and Kishore in pivotal roles.
