The Korean Business Research Institute has unveiled its latest brand reputation rankings for individual idols. Derived from a meticulous analysis encompassing consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes, the rankings offer a comprehensive snapshot of idols' influence and resonance within the industry. For the period spanning from January 22 to February 22, the research institute scrutinized data pertaining to 1,720 idols.
Making a notable debut on the rankings this month were the members of RIIZE, with Wonbin leading the charge by clinching the coveted top spot with an impressive brand reputation index of 2,851,254. The introduction of RIIZE members saw them assert their dominance, securing an astounding four positions within the top 10 for February.
Meanwhile, familiar faces in the K-pop realm continued to maintain their stronghold, with
ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo securing the second position, boasting a commendable brand reputation index of 2,743,477. Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon also upheld her standing, clinching third place with an index of 2,411,100.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s Jimin further claim the fourth and fifth positions respectively. Jennie's brand reputation index stood at an impressive 2,110,913, while Jimin garnered a score of 1,970,100, rounding out the top five with distinction.
The top 30 list further highlights a mix of established icons and emerging stars, including RIIZE’s Anton, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, RIIZE’s Eunseok, RIIZE’s Sungchan, SEVENTEEN’s Jun, IVE’s Jang Won Young, Wanna One’s Kang Daniel, NewJeans’ Hanni, BTS’s Jungkook, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, OH MY GIRL’s Mimi, NewJeans’ Minji, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, RIIZE’s Sohee, NewJeans’ Haerin, BTS’s V, Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon, aespa’s Karina, THE BOYZ’s Juyeon, Red Velvet’s Joy, Apink’s Jung Eun Ji, THE BOYZ’s Eric, and Highlight’s Lee Gikwang.
