NCT 127 grabs 1st win for ‘Walk’ On 'Music Bank'

NCT 127 has secured their first music show trophy for their new title track "Walk." The announcement came through KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" official website, as the show did not air on August 2 due to the 2024 Paris Olympics coverage.

"Walk" topped the Music Bank K-Chart for the week of July 22 to 28, scoring an impressive 8,335 points. This victory marks a significant milestone for NCT 127, celebrating their hard work and the song's popularity among fans.

In the same week, Stray Kids' "Chk Chk Boom" earned second place with 6,340 points. ENHYPEN's "XO (Only If You Say Yes)" secured third place with 3,815 points, completing the top three.

About NCT 127
NCT 127, the first fixed and second overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, was formed and managed by SM Entertainment. They debuted on July 7, 2016, with the extended play NCT #127, featuring an original lineup of seven members: Taeil, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, Winwin, Mark, and Haechan. Doyoung and Johnny joined in December 2016 before the release of their second EP Limitless, and Jungwoo was introduced in September 2018 ahead of their first studio album Regular-Irregular. Sticker debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, making it the highest and longest-charting K-pop album in the US in 2021. In 2022, their fourth Korean studio album, 2 Baddies, sold 3.2 million copies, making NCT 127 the second K-pop act to have three albums debut in the top five of the Billboard 200.
