Singer Madhubanti Bagchi says she put this CONDITION before Aditya Dhar to feature in 'Dhurandhar' song 'Shararat'; 'Don't make…'
The song 'Shararat' from the Ranveer Singh-led film 'Dhurandhar' went on to become a chartbuster after the film's release in theaters. Crooned by Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas, it featured the singers and Ayesha Khan and Krystle D'Souza. Talking about featuring in the film, Madhubanti said that she was initially quite hesistant.
Madhubanti revealed that she even asked 'Dhurandhar' filmmaker Aditya Dhar why he wants the singers to feature despite having actors, dancers, and others in the frame. She said, "He was so convinced about what he wants to do so there is not much that you can protest about. He said I want this and I said okay!" The singer then revealed that she put one condition before the filmmaker to agree to his demand. She revealed, "My only condition was that, ‘Do not make me dance!’ Because I don't want people to see that! (laughs)"
Composed by Sashwat Sachdev, the song has been choreographed by Vijay Ganguly.
Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, along iwth Akshaye Khaanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun. The movie was released in theaters on December 5, 2025.

Madhubanti Bagchi reveals she was hesistant to feature in 'Shararat' song
During a roundtable conversation on FEVER FM, Madhubanti Bagchi talked about how she became the part of the song's music video. She shared, "I was hesitant. I am just extremely hesitant about everything other than going to the studio or staying at home."Madhubanti revealed that she even asked 'Dhurandhar' filmmaker Aditya Dhar why he wants the singers to feature despite having actors, dancers, and others in the frame.
