Voctronica, a cappella ensemble, reached a new career high after delivering a performance at the Kaun Banega Crorepati Season Finale, earning a standing ovation from Amitabh Bachchan. The episode, which aired earlier this month, marked a landmark moment for the group, catapulting their journey from digital and niche stages firmly into mainstream Indian television. Performing on KBC, a show that has become part of India’s collective memory over its 25-year run, was deeply symbolic for the band. The occasion was made even more special by Voctronica’s reinterpretation of some of Amitabh Bachchan’s most iconic songs, performed in front of the legend himself. Calling the experience “inspiring,” band member Arjun Nair said, “Performing some of his own iconic songs for him, on such a beloved finale on Indian TV, was second only to being in Mr Bachchan’s enigmatic presence.
