Paroma Dasgupta’s love for pets is adorable

Apart from charming the audience with her melodious voice, the talented Paroma Dasgupta is also quite the animal lover. Often seen posting endearing pictures of her pooch fondly known as Lucky Singh on her social media pages, Paroma brought the stray dog home 10 years ago and hasn’t looked back since.
“I love all animals, especially dogs. They're capable of loving you unconditionally and there's no better feeling than coming home to someone who you know has been waiting for you all day.I named her Lucky Singh because my sister has a habit of calling any person she likes, ‘Singh’. Just for fun, I add filters to her pictures too. Also, she is quite a hit amongst all my friends. I urge people to adopt pets instead of buying them from breeders”, said Paroma.



Going by its name, the pet sure has proven lucky for her on multiple occasions. Whether it was lending her voice for a Swachch Bharat ad jingle featuring Anushka Sharma or the ‘Kaara Fankaara’ track from OK Jaanu, Paroma has a chain of luck to her credit. On the work front, Paroma will soon be seen in a cover video alongside Kamakshi Rai.
