Mika follows Aamir Khan

Though Mika Singh has been coming to Rajasthan quite often lately, the signer’s recent visit to the state was nothing short of a surprise for him. Mika Singh, who was in Jodhpur to perform at a friends wedding, was taken by surprise when he met actor Aamir Khan there.
On his way back to Delhi from Jodhpur, Mika met Aamir, who is on a whirlwind tour of India to hunt for locations for a new ad campaign.Aamir, who was exploring Rajasthan at that time, met Mika Singh and the two had a quick chat before leaving for their respective destinations.
Mika told us, “I travelled with Aamir in 1999 for my first world tour and I met him after some odd 11 years.” He then goes on to say, “Whenever you meet Aamir, he gives you positive vibes and you get to learn so much from him,” says an excited Mika, adding, “I have learnt how to be patient from him.” Interestingly, we now know why Mika had to forgo his long tresses. He says, “I read an interview of Aamir where he’d said that men above 30 should not keep long hair kyunki un par short hair hi suit karte hain and so, I chose to cut my hair after Aamir’s advice.”
Not only this, the singer feels that Aamir is one of the most sorted out human beings in the film fraternity. He says, “He is a true person aur bilkul bhi jhoot nahi bolte. He does few films in a year but all are blockbusters and I follow his footsteps as even I do a few songs in a year.” Though he was happy meeting Aamir, he was grieved when he heard of Whitney Houston’s demise. “As a singer, I felt bad because after Michael Jackson and Jagjit Singh, I admired Whitney. Unke music se inspiration milti thi mujhe,” he said.
