Mahii Singh Rajput: For me, love is beyond selflessness

Actor Mahii Singh Rajput, who has entertained her audience by featuring in romantic ballads, sat with ETimes for a hearty conversation on the occasion of Valentines' week. She has been known to stir love with her songs, and even, in reality, she has some of the sweetest words to share on love, romance, and Valentine.
“Love is just love! It is not quantifiable.For me, love is beyond selflessness. This is the reason maybe why people even fall in love with someone exactly opposite in character or personality. It doesn't allow you to think in terms of compassion or excuses. You can just feel it and the movement you start thinking or doubting to be in it, that's not love for me,” said Mahii talking to us.
“It just happens. Whether you or I or Heer Ranjha and Romeo Juliet, we are all just lovers, we all share the same feeling. Rest all depends on the situation,” added the 'Mehfooz Hai' fame actor.
Further, she also gave her take on whether Valentine is overrated or is it a sweet excuse to celebrate love. She said, “regarding Valentine's Day/week, you can enjoy or celebrate different festivals, different seasons, different food, different music; in the same way, Valentine's week is a celebration, a celebration of love, of being important for someone. For me, this is as important as Father's Day, or Mother's Day. A relationship with someone special is as important as any other blood relation.”
After this, we also asked if Mahii has some special Valentine plans. “Personally, I am in love with myself. But yes, God must have created someone very special for me as well. The only thing is: I am yet to find him,” she expressed with a smile.
