It's a baby boy for Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar gave birth to a boy last Sunday, announced Arun Bharat Ram, trustee of the Ravi Shankar Centre for Arts, in Delhi on Friday.
Anoushka Shankar gave birth to a boy last Sunday, announced Arun Bharat Ram, trustee of the Ravi Shankar Centre for Arts, in Delhi on Friday.
The announcement was made at the Centre during an annual festival held to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Beatle and Pt Ravi Shankar’s friend, the late George Harrison. Pt Ravi Shankar himself is usually in Delhi during the festival, but could not attend this year because Anoushka was due to deliver her baby, whose father is her husband, director Joe Wright.
