When it comes to sports, Anand Raj Anand never stays back. We all know that this Bollywood singer-turned-composer showed his dhamake daar performance during the Common Wealth Games 2010. He is, once again, set to rock Delhi audience with his new musical composition dedicated to the cricket World cup. And this time, it is for the Indian cricket team during the World Cup.
We could see all his josh and junoon as a true supporter for Team India on Tuesday morning, when he was shooting his song sequence non-stop in the heavy downpour, along with 100 professional dancers and surrounded by the huge local crowd gathered at the Taj Express Highway
on the Greater Noida road.
Naturally, he sounded upbeat about his new musical composition, “Itni baarish ho rahi hai Dilli main, par uski fikar kisko hai? Hum mein junoon aisa hai ki hum sab yeh music video shoot kar rahe hain subah se. It's an overwhelming response to see such a huge crowd gathered here during the shooting. We have hired three exclusive open buses for the video. The buses have come all the way from Jaipur and they all sport special tiranga flags.”
Talking more about the song scene, he told us, “I’m wearing the Indian cricket team uniform and will be singing and dancing along with the dancers in the open bus. The world cup cricket carnival has finally arrived in India, so I have written, composed and sung the world cup anthem. To make the scene look more real we have asked the public to cheer along with us in the song scene. It’s a total josh bhara song and my son Yash Raj Anand
will also make a special appearance in the sequence. The song is “Josh main hain Indian, Josh Main... dekhna hain kaun hain kitne hosh main”. The song sends across the message that we are supporting and cheering for the Indian team players. It is a three-minute song and will be aired for 40 days throughout the world cup matches. I also have plans to perform live at the Kotla stadium when the Indian team will play here in Delhi.”
