Much to the excitement of Indian Ocean fans, a contemporary fusion music band from Delhi, a memorial concert was organised by the band on December 25 for Asheem Chakravarty, one of the founder members of the band, who passed away last year due to a cardiac arrest.
Despite the freezing cold, the amphitheatre was packed with people and the organisers had to close the entry after a while.

As the band came on stage, the crowd cheered and threw song requests at them. Rahul Ram told them, ““Kandisa” will be the last song for tonight.” “Kandisa” is one of the first Indian Ocean songs to have acquired cult status making the band one of India’s most popular bands. The band began the concert by playing “Khwaab Dekhe Khwaabon Mein Hi.” They were also joined by singer Rabbi Shergill at the concert.
