Interestingly, the veteran director is shooting his third outing in Kolhapur after ‘Gaav Pudhe Aahe’ and ‘Jhala Anant Hanumant’. Speaking to us, he says, “It is a wonderful city and it is easy to shoot here.
The expenses are much lower compared to Mumbai. Plus, the film has new faces playing the lead characters.”
Bhagat shares that the main character is shown to be from Kolhapur. “It is a story of a young actor who after failing in his career, comes to Kolhapur. Then, the locals here give him the tag of a saint due to certain circumstances,” says he.

Dev Anand’s blockbuster 'Guide', and the filmmaker says, “Yes, you can say that the story shares similarities with the 60s classic film. But there are a few thoughtful messages that I am trying to convey through the film in a subtle manner. Also, film will remind you of a few other films.”
Munnawar, who has been active in both Bollywood and Marathi cinema, says that there isn’t much difference in both the film industries. “Only budget constraints could be the difference,” says he, on a concluding note.
