'Baap baap hota hai ...': MP minor stabs boy to death after ‘baap’ taunt

JABALPUR: A class 8 student has stabbed to death a class 9 student in Jabalpur over a dispute, two days after sending him a text message: "Baap Baap Hota Hai, Beta Beta Hota Hai (a father is a father, and a son is a son)".
SDOP Patan Lokesh Dabar said there was a conflict between the students from two different schools in Natwara village.
A 15-year-old eighth-grade student had threatened the class 9 student, Rohit Prajapati, in a text message.The accused stabbed the deceased while he was returning home from school on Thursday evening, he said.
The injured student was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, where he died during treatment on Friday.
Upon receiving information, police registered a murder case and sent the body for a post-mortem. The accused, a minor, was also apprehended.
