The month of November has been bursting with Bollywood news and gossip that has left a number of fans hooked. The month started with Shah Rukh Khan’s star-studded birthday bash, and ended with Zaheer Khan’s wedding to Sagarika Ghatge. Apart from the celebrations, the month was also full of controversial events like the postponement of ‘Padmavati’ to censorship troubles at the recently concluded International Film Festival of India (IFFI). After publicly declaring their engagement earlier this year, former Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan tied the knot with ‘Chak De’ girl Sagarika Ghatge. The wedding may have been a private affair but the proceeding parties were quite the starry dos. With the best of cricket world and the crème-de-la-crème of Bollywood showing up for the many post-wedding parties, the holy alliance proved to be quite the newsmaker.

‘Nude’ and ‘S Durga’ were pulled out by the Information & Broadcasting Ministry from the line-up of International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Interestingly, these films were already approved by the jury of the fest. This last minute diktat led to resignations from jury members like Sujoy Ghosh and Apurva Asrani. The exclusions also led to widespread criticism of the last-minute overreach by the I&B ministry.

Kangana Ranaut's sister, Rangoli Chandel, welcomed her son PrithviRaj on November 16, 2017. Rangoli, who belongs to Himachal Pradesh, shared pictures from the 'gantryala' ceremony, which is celebrated in Himachal with Pooja, local food and songs when the baby turns 13-days-old. Kangana, who is currently filming ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’, took off time from her schedule to be a part of the celebrations in Himachal. "Gratitude, happiness and celebrations in local style. #Gantryala," Rangoli captioned the pictures.

After violent threats to Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone by Rajput Karni Sena, ‘Padmavati’ also ran into censor troubles after it was sent back due to lack of complete documentation. The makers had earlier stated that they will keep the date and ‘Padmavati’ will release on December 1, as scheduled earlier. Later, they were forced to postpone the release of the film indefinitely. To add to it, after Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh decided to ban the film, the Bihar government also decided to ban the film in its state.

Vatsal Sheth tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend and former co-star Ishita Dutta on November 28, 2017 in a hush-hush ceremony at Mumbai's Iskcon temple. The wedding was very secretive and saw close friends and family of the actors at the nuptials. Ishita’s on-screen father from the hit film ‘Drishyam’ – Ajay Devgn made an appearance with wife Kajol and sister-in-law Tanishaa Mukerji and mother-in-law Tanuja.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended an NGO in honour of her late father Krishnaraj Rai's birthday. However, during the event media persons allegedly started clicking photos of her and daughter Aaradhya and created much commotion while doing so. Aishwarya requested the photographers to remain calm, but they again started taking her photos. After it became too chaotic, Aishwarya lost her cool. She became teary-eyed after requesting them over and over again to remain calm and composed since many children were in the room.

A body was seen hanging at Nahargarh Fort with a threat written on a rock. The threat said, "We don’t burn effigies, we kill." ANI shared pictures of the grotesque sight on Twitter by writing, “#Rajasthan: Body found hanging at Nahargarh Fort in #Jaipur, threat note on rocks also seen #Padmavati”. In further tweets, the identity of the body was revealed. “Body found hanging at Nahargarh Fort in #Jaipur is of 40 year old local Chetan Saini,” ANI further tweeted.

Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor had been grooming herself to enter Bollywood for the longest time, and the young lady found her first film in Karan Johar’s production ‘Dhadak’. The film will also star Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother Ishaan Khatter. ‘Dhadak’ will be directed by the director of hits like ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, Shashank Khaitan.

Right at the start of the month, Shah Rukh Khan took his close set of friends from B-town and his family to Alibag. The wait for Karan Johar's much-awaited sequel to the 2012 college drama 'Student of the Year' finally came to an end this month! The director unveiled the first look of the upcoming film 'Student of the Year 2' featuring Tiger Shroff on Twitter. In the colourful poster shared by KJo, Tiger looks like a cool student who is all set to rule the college. Reports suggest that Tiger's rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani and Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya Panday have been roped in to play the female leads in the sequel. While the first installment was directed by Karan, the second will be helmed by Punit Malhotra.

When Varun Dhawan leapt out of his car’s window to oblige a fan with a selfie, the fan may have been overwhelmed with emotion but Mumbai Police were not amused. They promptly sent the star a challan and its Twitter handle had a message and a warning for Varun: These adventures work on screen but not on roads. And next time, things will be harsher. They even had the photo of Varun taking the selfie with the fan. Here is what the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Police wrote, “.@Varun_dvn These adventures surely work on D silver screen but certainly not on the roads of Mumbai! Apologising for his act, Varun Dhawan replied to Mumbai Police, “My apologies �� Our cars weren’t moving since we were at a traffic signal and I didn’t want to hurt the sentiment of a fan but next time I’ll keep safety in mind and won’t encourage this.”

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan had organized a grand celebration for their darling daughter, Aaradhya’s sixth birthday. Seen at the do were Shilpa Shetty with son Viaan, Shah Rukh Khan and son AbRam amongst other celebs. Amitabh Bachchan shared a few photos from the party and AbRam Khan could be seen queuing up with dad Shah Rukh Khan for some cotton candy. AB senior shared the pictures as he wrote, "And as for this little bundle .. he wanted the fluffy 'buddhi ka baal' cone .. so we took him to the stall made one for him and the joy of getting it is just priceless .. Abram, jr Shahrukh .. delectable !!"

Shah Rukh replied to the tweet saying, "Thank u sir. This is a moment he will always cherish. By the way he thinks u r my ‘papa’ when he sees u on TV."
