Apparently, Deepika had randomly shared a fact that it had been a while since she had travelled by train. However, Ranbir jumped at the opportunity and suggested that they cancel their flight tickets and book train tickets instead. The idea was immediately implemented upon and the duo will be travelling by train today, November 22.

According to an IANS report, Deepika was impressed with Imtiaz's looks, which made Ranbir Kapoor feel jealous. Speaking to IANS, Ranbir was quoted saying, "I was jealous because she was so enamored by his looks. She would come and tell me that he is so good looking and he has such great hair. I used to look at Imtiaz with 'tashan.'" Deepika, Ranbir and Imtiaz have now teamed up for Tamasha. "Imtiaz is a pure director, he really feels the parts and the emotions so he expects his actors to be pure," said Ranbir in the IANS report.

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone share a sizzling chemistry on-screen in Tamasha. According to a DNA report, Tamasha has been certified with a ‘U/A’ censor certificate. The Censor Board of Film Certification has also suggested five cuts in the film. The report further states that the kiss between Ranbir and Deepika has been axed. A source was quoted in the report as saying that The CBFC found the kiss to be too hot. Apparently the kiss was one of the lengthiest kisses filmed for a Bollywood film. It’s reportedly longer than the one shared between Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor in the film, Raja Hindustani.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Deepika Padukone kicked off the music launch of Tamasha and Ranbir joined her through a video conference call. The report further stated that when Ranbir and Deepika were being called the next Shah Rukh-Kajol jodi, RK was quick to retort, "I would rather we be called the first Ranbir-Deepika jodi than the next SRK-Kajol."

While soups, pasta, gnocchi and polenta were tried in variations by the team, the Corse sandwich and the dessert, Fiadone was their favourite.

They are on a break from mundane everyday reality and playfully decide that their lives on the French island will be nothing but a pack of lies and go around impersonating the characters they have been fascinated with, from Dev Anand to Don and Mona Darling. In an interview with IANS, director Imtiaz Ali revealed the nature of his lead characters. Talking about Ranbir’s character, he said, "Ranbir is a story-teller in the film. The character of Ranbir in the film is stuck with his routine and monotonous life, and what he wanted to, he could not do until he finds his muse Deepika. Deepika is his muse, inspiration in the film.” Imtiaz Ali further spoke about Deepika's role in the film. He said, "Deepika in real life is very shy person but now she has overcome her shyness on-screen though she is same shy person in real life.”

While the entire video seems to be rather fun and offers a glimpse as to what goes on behind the cameras while shooting for a film, it also offers an insight into the chemistry of ex-lovers, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. The report further states that last week Deepika uploaded a video on her social networking pages which showed Ranbir is completely unaware of the social media accounts of his film. Annoyed with Ranbir's ignorance, director Imtiaz Ali seems to have made Kapoor pay for it. With this film the audiences will for the third time be treated to the sizzling chemistry of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, after their successful Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. However the big question is whether they be third time lucky with Tamasha or not. We will allow time to do the talking. The shoot of Imtiaz's Tamasha as shoot wrapped up earlier this month. Bollywoodlife.com accreddited one of its report to a leading film magazine in which it states, producer Sajid Nadaidwala is apparently not very happy with bits shot with the leading pair Deepika and Ranbir in the exotic Corsica, France which is why he is planning to re-shoot the entire sequences yet again, but in India! No matter how tricky it may be but as a producer, it becomes mandatory to keep a check on the production costs of a film otherwise it would might as well be sheer wastage. Beau Ranveer Singh will have to do without Deepika Padukone, reports Mumbai Mirror. The actress' schedule is currently blocked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period romance, Bajirao Mastani, which is racing towards a Christmas release. With Priyanka Chopra who plays the Peshwa's first wife, Kashi Bai, away in Montreal till September end, shooting for her American TV show, Quantico, the focus is on Deepika and her real life beau Ranveer Singh, the report stated. Ranveer's action sequences had to be pushed forward after he fell off a horse and underwent a shoulder surgery. It's pretty hectic on SLB's sets currently. Yet, when Deepika learnt that she was needed for a poster shoot with Ranbir Kapoor for their upcoming love story, Tamasha, which opens a month earlier on November 27, she was ready to make some adjustments in her diary, the report further stated. A source close to the actress was quoted saying, "Bhansali has graciously agreed to let Deepika off for a day. It could be August 16 or 17 when she moves from Ranveer to Ranbir without any tamasha, off screen." The wrap-up bash of the film was a huge hit. But certain reports suggested that the lead actors of the film were emotional at the party. However, according to a PTI report, Ranbir Kapoor has denied reports that he and Tamasha co-star, Deepika Padukone, got emotional on the last day of the film's shoot. "I don't think anybody got emotional as it was written. We all were happy. It is my second film with Imtiaz Ali and Sajid Nadiadwala and third film with Deepika. For me, I was overwhelmed," Ranbir said. There were reports that Ranbir and Deepika had an emotional breakdown after the wrap-up shoot of Tamasha. "This film went very fast and we never felt the duration of the film and we had fun shooting for it. It was not as intense as Rockstar so there was no emotion as such. We were happy and excited that we finished this film," Ranbir, added.
