They seem to be on good terms and according to a report on Desimartini.com, the filmmaker is considering launching Ankita in Bollywood. However, before her big fat film debut, Ankita will apparently be seen in an item song in SLB's Bajirao Mastani.

Kapil Sharma has hit the jackpot with the success of his debut film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. He has got a tremendous response, something that he was not expecting. Speaking to IANS, Kapil said, "It feels good when your efforts are appreciated. I was not expecting such a positive response." The actor further added in the report how actors portray diverse roles now, Kapil said, " Gone are the days when there was a myth that a comedian cannot play a hero. Today actors want to portray diverse characters. They don't want to get typecast as a romantic hero only and many actors nowadays like to play negative characters. So, the perception of people has changed and it's a good thing."

Twinkle Khanna's favourite cousin to enter Bollywood

A new son is shining on the horizon and his name is Karan Kapadia. Dimple Kapadia's nephew (her late sister Simple's son) and Twinkle Khanna's favourite cousin is getting himself ready for the movies, reports Mumbai Mirror. Kapadia is now 21, gymtoned, angel-tattooed and, yes, gorgeous. He has previously assisted director Rahul Dholakia on a film albeit briefly, the report stated. He is a major football fan and a music buff too. Most of his pals are not from the industry, and this has kept his head screwed on tight. Further to the report, he's realistic, mature and incredibly witty too.

For city model Abrar Zahoor, his role in the upcoming film Neerja is nothing short of a dream come true. According to a report, he plays Safrini, the main antagonist in the film, which is based on a real-life hijack incident and stars Sonam Kapoor in the titular role. "It was a fabulous experience to work on the film. Ram (Madhwani) is a treat to work with. He wanted us to be as realistic as possible. In fact, there are scenes that required me to slap and kick Sonam. It was all real and in one scene I even kicked her in the stomach. She was amazing to work with and is so humble," says Abrar. Quiz him about how he landed the role and Abrar says, "Actually, one of my friends was to audition for this film. Since he was in Delhi, he asked me to go and try. They liked me. What also worked to my advantage was that I knew a little bit of Arabic. In my three-month training, I was also made to learn Arabic." Abrar was previously seen in the film Janleva 555.

Sonam's younger brother has been away from the prying eyes of the media, which increases the curiosity about this Kapoor lad. In fact, sister Sonam seemed nervous about her brother's debut. According to a report on PTI, she was quoted saying, "I am happy he is here (in the film industry). But I am very nervous because he is a kid and I hope he does well." Harshvardhan was Anurag Kashyap's assistant director for his film Bombay Velvet.

Kapil Sharma: The ace comedian who became popular with the show Comedy Nights with Kapil, was to make his Bollywood debut with Bank Chor. But suddenly, it was announced that the actor would not be doing the YRF film and was replaced by Riteish Deshmukh. But Kapil's popularity knows no bounds. The actor will make his debut with Abbas Mastan's film opposite Elli Avram. He took to Twitter to post, "First day of my film shoot.. Need ur blessings.. Love u all :)" [sic]

The star kid was embroiled in a controversy for allegedly abetting the suicide of Jiah Khan. The young gun will make his entry into Bollywood with the remake of Hero, directed by Nikhil Advani. In fact, the film's shooting has ended and the director took to Twitter to post about the same, "And we’ve wrapped!!! @HeroTheFilm." [sic] With Sooraj's first look out from the film, the star son has generated a lot of curiosity and has been widely appreciated for his looks. Sooraj Pancholi has worked hard on his physique and has undergone rigorous training to get his look right in the film. According to a report on Movies.ndtv.com, Sooraj Pancholi even borrowed Tiger Shroff's gym trainer to get the perfect body to flaunt in his action sequences in his debut film, Hero. He will be one to watch out for!

Athiya Shetty: Suniel Shetty's daughter, Athiya is set to star opposite Sooraj Pancholi in the remake of Subhash Ghai's 1983 classic, Hero. In the film, Athiya, who apparently is a fantastic dancer, promises to deliver ‘something special.’ A Bollywoodhungama.com report states that a special song has been created for her to dance to in the film. The report further stated that a source was quoted saying that this dance number was earlier meant to feature both Athiya and Sooraj Pancholi to showcase their dancing skills. But Nikhil Advani realised how capable Athiya was of carrying-off an entire song-and-dance routine all by herself. With this film, will Athiya create a niche for herself in Bollywood? Only time will tell!

Mahira Khan: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is slated to make her debut in Bollywood. Mahira is a popular name in her country and has done top TV shows like Humsafar and also appeared in the critically acclaimed film Bol. Like her contemporaries (Humaima Malick), this beauty will feature opposite none other than the Badshah of Bollywood: Shah Rukh Khan in Raees, which is being directed by Rahul Dholakia. According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan will play a don and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is likely to play a cop. A source said that SRK had dropped in at the audition to meet Mahira. With Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan being successful in B-town, it remains to be seen what Mahira's luck will be in the Hindi film industry.

Akshara Haasan: After Shruti Haasan, Akshara made her big Bollywood debut, and that too opposite stalwarts such as Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush. The light-eyed beauty was seen in R Balki's Shamitabh. Ever since the trailer was released online, the film created a lot of buzz and Akshara won rave reviews. In fact, even Big B admitted to being intimidated by her. According to a report, the legend was quoted saying, "Akshara came fully prepared and in fact we're intimidated by her confidence." The young actress added, "I had to learn Hindi diction. I had to make efforts everyday and work is still in progress."

Karan Singh Grover: Like his predecessors, Karan Singh Grover, the heartthrob of the telly world, made his Bollywood debut with Alone. Cast opposite Bipasha Basu, the actor won rave reviews for his performance in the film. Karan Singh Grover's hot body and chiselled look, apart from his steaming chemistry with Bips was the talking point in tinsel town. While KSG has been hugely popular on the small screen, we hope the handsome hunk tastes the same success in Bollywood too.

Gurmeet Choudhary: Gurmeet has a huge fan following on TV that only a few actors can beat or even match. With his show, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, the actor went on to taste success and catapulted to fame overnight. He continued that with Punar Vivah (season 1) and even went on to win dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Gurmeet made his Bollywood debut with Vishesh Films' Khamoshiyan. In fact, according to a report, the Bhatts have signed the actors of Khamoshiyan for multiple films. With his Bollywood debut, we only hope Gurmeet can transform the same magic on the silver screen and become hugely popular.
