Bollywood's Badshah Shah Rukh Khan is busy with his next Aanand L. Rai's film but his last outing at the box-office 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' disappointed his fans.
According to reports, Shah Rukh is reported to have refunded 30% to the distributors of the Imtiaz Ali film which starred Anushka Sharma opposite him. This was not the first time that Shah Rukh has done this as his previous films 'Dilwale', 'Asoka' and 'Paheli' too flopped at the box-office and he had gone on to refund his distributors.
Meanwhile, his fans are extremely excited to see the charismatic actor essaying the role of a dwarf in his next which also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.

Bollywood's king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan knows how to keep up the smile for the shutterbugs even after a hectic schedule. The actor was recently spotted leaving Shankar Mahadevan's studio. The actor was all smiles for the camera. He was looking fresh in a full sleeve casual grey tee and blue cargo pants.

Meanwhile, the actor is currently shooting for Aanand L. Rai's next film where SRK will be seen playing the role of a dwarf. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles.

Veteran filmmaker and Rani Mukerji’s father Ram Mukerji passed away in the wee hours of Sunday morning. He was cremated in the evening in a suburban Mumbai crematorium. After the last rites, Bollywood stars paid a visit to Rani’s house. Shah Rukh Khan was among the many visitors at Rani’s residence. The Badshah of Bollywood wore a loose white shirt and appeared in a sombre mood as he made his way to her house. SRK and Rani have acted in films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…’, ‘Chalte Chalte’, and ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’.

Shah Rukh Khan was an absolute charmer when he met women from Ahmedabad's SEWA (Self Employed Women's Association) amid smiles and hope. King Khan’s dialogue ‘koi dhandha chhota nahi hota’ from ‘Raees’ seemed to be the theme of his rendezvous with these ladies. The superstar sang and danced at the occasion, much to ladies’ delight. Called 'Dialogue with grassroots managers, entrepreneurs and collective enterprises', the event turned out to be a hit. Highlight of the event was the superstar grooving to his popular lungi dance to charm the women. Sharing a picture, he tweeted, “The ladies & the lungi. Can’t get over the fragrance of lov sacrifice & hardships these women surrounded me with.” He also shared how he was reminded of his own mother who toiled hard despite his father’s illness to shelter him from his life’s struggles. He said that the women in his life including his wife, sister and daughter ensure that there is no struggle in his life.

It is public knowledge that Apple CEO, Tim Cook will be arriving in India tonight. He will then go on to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, however, before his meeting with the PM, Cook is reported to have another meeting lined up in his itinerary. A report on Spotboye.com states that Tim Cook will be heading to Shah Rukh Khan's home for a dinner bash tonight. The report states that Tim had earlier expressed a desire to meet King Khan. And being the gracious man that he is, SRK decided to host a 'closed-door sit-down dinner for him.' The bash will be attended by close friends of the actor, amongst other bigwigs, concluded the report.

Shah Rukh Khan’s portrayal of Gaurav in ‘Fan’ has been super-impressing cinegoers. But not many people would know that the character is actually based on one of SRK’s real-life fans. As per a report, the character is based on a jabra SRK fan named Deepak Kalra. The report also quotes Shah Rukh saying that he has imbibed few personality traits of Deepak while playing Gaurav. Now, this might be a first case of a star paying tribute to his fan. That’s truly generous of SRK. Don't you agree guys?

Besides Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan also shared a great on-screen chemistry with Juhi Chawla in the ‘90s. This was evident in films like Darr, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Yes Boss, Duplicate, etc. Recently, Ram Jaane, another film starring them, has completed 20 years. Getting nostalgic on reminiscing the old days, Juhi posted a picture of the movie on Twitter featuring her and SRK with a caption, “What a pretty picture of me .. When SRK was asked to comment on the controversies surrounding commercial surrogacy and the consideration to ban it, Shah Rukh had a very important point to make. He agreed that there was a need of regularisation on the procedure. He said, "It should be regulated. When I was having my surrogate baby, I did a lot of study on it and realised that a lot of countries have regulated the procedure. I know the pleasure of having children and if there is any manner in which parents who are bereft of this joy are able to enjoy it, I am all for it."

In an interview, speaking about Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt said that she met him for the first time when her dad took her to his house. Alia revealed that he gave them lots of sandwiches and Coca Cola to drink and that she ate about 15 sandwiches while sitting and staring at him. Speaking about the person, Shah Rukh, the Highway actress said that the Baadshah is a people’s person and makes you feel special. The beautiful actress stated that as a fellow actor and audience, she really admired the way he is with his fans.

Now I need to know where to start," Coelho tweeted from Geneva, along with an image. To this, Shah Rukh replied, “Just sent some movies to @paulocoelho. This time, SRK talks about five important things that one should follow in their life. Here’s a list of lessons from SRK:

1. Build a wall around you to block negativity.

2. Guys, please don’t stalk girls whom you want to like you back.

3. Girls, please don’t report boys if they don’t match up with the high standards of love that Shah Rukh has set. While teaching this, the King Khan poses in his signature style and adds that the pose does the trick for him.

4. Let your interests instill creativity. SRK is not asking you to write a poem or a book, but live your life like a poem.

5. Do not lose your cool when poked. Here, SRK confesses to have learnt this lesson the hard way. At the end of video, Shah Rukh promises to come back with more videos. No more gyaan videos though.

Shah Rukh Khan crossed 15 million likes on Facebook therefore King Khan made sure to make every bit of it special for his fans. Why did Shah Rukh Khan cancel his 'Shaandaar' party?

Rumours were rife that Shah Rukh Khan had planned a bash for Karan Johar's Shaandaar team at his residence, Mannat. However, according to a report, the plan was cancelled last minute due to the actor's hectic shoot schedule. A source has been quoted in the report as saying that Karan was supposed to go over to SRK's place with Shaandaar director, Vikas Bahl, and lead pair, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, after the film's first trailer was unveiled and that it was not any celebration as such, but a quiet gathering. The source further added that the actor had to cancel his plans last minute due to his tight schedule. However, a source close to the actor has been quoted in the report as saying that Shah Rukh keeps inviting his friends over for dinner whenever he is in town, so it is nothing special or exclusive. However, the source also adds that, given the actor's busy schedule, he has no time to host any party and that if he had really invited someone, he would have definitely adjusted his schedule.

According to a report, BMC sent a notice to Shah Rukh Khan asking him to pay the cost of the demolition of the illegal ramp outside his house. He's the badshah of Bollywood who has contributed to the country in more ways than just cinema. While a lot of stars speak about their charitable acts, King Khan prefers to be silent. A badshah at heart too, Shah Rukh has a long list of philanthropic deeds to his credit. Though he doesn't announce details of his charitable deeds, we take a look at Shah Rukh's acts of kindness and generosity.

SRK has often lent a helping hand to those in need and one of the examples is when he helped a Kashmiri Pandit refugee family who met with a serious car accident on their way from Jammu to Delhi. When filmmaker Ashok Pandit, another Kashmiri Pandit, came to know about the accident, he asked Shah Rukh for help and the actor was generous enough to lend his monetary support instantly. Pandit himself claims that this is not the first time that SRK has come forward to help out somebody in genuine need.

Every child has an ambition to be someone when he grows up. Unfortunately some children do not have the privilege. So for young ones suffering from life-threatening diseases, a dream coming true is as good as a miracle happening in their life. A small NGO called Make a Wish Foundation makes the wishes of such children, come true. Shah Rukh Khan has been closely involved with this NGO and has always volunteered to help them. The actor makes apt arrangements for such kids to be driven to his house and ensures that he spends some quality time with them and brings joy to them in their limited life-span.

The actor who is quite aware of his popularity and market value used it to good effect more than a decade back. It is believed that during the release of his film Dil To Pagal Hai, Shah Rukh used to allegedly charge Rs 5000 per interview whenever a media channel interviewed him. But before you think he exploited his fame to his benefit, it is also reported by different media houses that SRK used the money strictly for charity purposes only. He used to take the money in the form of cheques in favour of the NGOs he supports.

Shah Rukh Khan has been a popular name even on the small screen even after becoming a superstar. With his stint on Kaun Banega Crorepati in the game show's third season, Shah Rukh was instrumental in getting a lot of prize money donated to social causes. When Shah Rukh was shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, an unfortunate incident occurred on the sets. A person, who had just come to visit the sets and see the shooting met with a tragic accident when a ceiling fan fell on him and he died on the spot. Shah Rukh personally offered help to the deceased’s family and sent them money to help them sail through their testing times. SRK was not responsible for the mishap in any manner nor was he officially obligated to help. But out of his moral sense, the actor came forward to do the needful.

Everyone who works with Shah Rukh Khan’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment, right from the top-level managers to the watchmen, are treated with utmost love and respect. Shah Rukh might be taking additional revenue from banners for his star power but he distributes share from profits made to his company members as well. It is believed that after the super success of his film Om Shanti Om, SRK distributed a good part of the profits amongst his company employees as a goodwill bonus.

Very few know that during the NDTV's Greenathon event in 2009, he adopted five villages and 12 villages in 2012. Apart from that, he has done concerts to raise money for earthquake affected areas. He was appointed as the first global ambassador of UNOPS, which works to improve the lifestyle of people. In an interview to the Guardian he was quoted as saying, 'I follow Quran which says if you do charity for a reason, it's not a charity.'

SRK is also the first Indian to be recognised by the international organization, UNESCO, for his charitable act. Very few know that providing medical aid to the needy is a cause close to the actor's heart. When animator Charu Khandal from Red Chillies, who worked on King Khan's Ra.One, was critically injured in a car accident, she got help from the baadshah himself. In an interview to Hindustan Times, the victim's sister, Ritu, was quoted as saying that when SRK spoke to the hospital authorities, her sister Charu was given VIP treatment and Red Chillies paid around Rs 8-10 lakh for the cost incurred on medical treatment. SRK himself was quoted telling media personnel at the airport, "Yeah, it's very unfortunate. I have been in touch with the office. I will go and take a look at her. I will pray that Allah makes her alright soon."

Some years ago, a reporter from a popular media channel met with an accident just after he had interviewed Shah Rukh Khan. His condition was quite critical and the hospital authorities demanded a huge sum of money for his treatment since the injuries were severe. There was little time and money was needed on an immediate basis for his admission. When SRK got a whiff of this, he immediately arranged for the money which reportedly amounted to one lakh per day for the treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries in a few days.
