Shraddha Kapoor to be paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra in 'Shotgun Shaadi' but with conditions?

Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra’s chemistry in their first movie together ‘Ek Villain’ won a lot of hearts. Ever since then, fans have been anticipating a movie with them playing the lead couple. Earlier there were reports of them being paired opposite each other in ‘Shotgun Shaadi’, however, Shraddha had refuted these rumours and said that she hasn’t been approached for the project.

Now as per latest reports, Shraddha will be a part of the film opposite Sidharth. ‘Shotgun Shaadi’ is reportedly about groom abducting which happens commonly in Bihar. The tradition is also called Pakadua Vivah.

In the film which is said to go on floors soon, Sidharth will be essaying the role of a thug with a Bhojpuri accent. The ‘Ek Villain’ actor has also apparently started prepping for the role. Shraddha signed on the dotted lines of the project which is produced by her ‘Ek Villain’ producer Ekta Kapoor. However, the ‘Saaho’ actress has requested the makers to change a few things in the script. A source confirmed the same to a daily and revealed that the changes are underway.

Sidharth was the first choice of Ekta Kapoor as soon as she heard the script of ‘Shotgun Shaadi’ and she believed that this is the perfect opportunity to live their ‘Ek Villain’ times together and collaborate. The film is expected to roll in a couple of months.

Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt to be back together after 25 years

For all those who were eagerly waiting to see the Bollywood’s dhak-dhak girl Madhuri Dixit Nene unite with Sanjay Dutt yet again, you can finally rejoice. The sizzling jodi, that once created waves on the silver screen with their chemistry, is all set to work together after a long hiatus.

According to the reports, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt have agreed to work together for Abhishek Varma’s untitled. For the uninitiated, Sanju baba and Madhuri’s personal equations had gone for a toss due to their controversial past. However, the two have moved on and without letting their personal issues affect their professional life, they have agreed to work together yet again.

Earlier, late actress Sridevi was the part of this movie produced by Dharma Productions, which also stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead. However, with Sridevi’s sudden demise, the movie’s announcement was put on hold. Later on, Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor posted on her Instagram that Madhuri Dixit has stepped into Sridevi’s shoes for the movie. The shooting will start soon and the movie will hit the screens in early 2019.

Ever since Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor’s collaboration news for ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ broke out, fans have been waiting to hear more celebrity stars and their kids to unite on the big screen. And guess what, your wish just came true for Suniel Shetty will be coming together with his daughter Athiya Shetty on screen together.

As per latest reports in a daily, Suniel and Athiya recently shot for a video that aims to create awareness about saving the girl child and girls' right to education. Athiya has always had big hopes about her first project with her dad. She always wanted it to be special, and this one is something that is extraordinarily beautiful. She said how as a family they have always rooted for girl child’s welfare. Neither of the two needed any kind of convincing as the project was for a greater cause.

Athiya has always spoken well of her father and she also considers him as a source of inspiration when it comes to having a successful career in Bollywood. She says that observing her dad on the set as he approached his craft with utmost sincerity was a learning lesson in itself. Ajay Devgn feels wife Kajol and he cannot play stereotypical roles anymore

Kajol and Ajay Devgn have been a happily married couple for about 19 years now. Even after having two kids, Nysa and Yug, the couple have been going strong with each passing day.
The actors have however not been seen together on the silver screen post their last film 'U Me Aur Hum' which was made a decade ago in 2008.

According to the reports, when Ajay who is producing the film 'Eela' which has Kajol has the main lead has made it clear that he and his partner are at such a stage in their career where they can't play stereotypical roles like that in a love story anymore. So it would be tough for them to star as a couple in a film unless someone comes to them with a script that justifies their united presence on the silver screen.

For the record, Kajol's 'Eela' has her in the role of a single mother and is an adaptation of Anand Gandhi's Gujarati play, ‘Beta Kaagdo’ whereas Ajay is back with yet another gripping thriller 'Raid'.

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra visit the Golden Temple in Amritsar ahead of the shoot of 'Namastey England'

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are all set to commence shooting for their next ‘Namastey England’ in Punjab.
The actors, who shared screen space in ‘Ishaqzaade’ paid a visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek the blessings of the almighty before starting work on the project.
The duo was accompanied by filmmaker Vipul Shah.
It was Arjun’s impromptu plan to visit the temple before starting the shoot and he didn’t lose the opportunity of praying at the holy place alone for about thirty minutes.
'Namastey England' is slated to hit theatres on December 7, 2018.

Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit-Nene to unite for Indra Kumar’s ‘Total Dhamaal’?

Aditi Rao Hydari replaces Kriti Sanon opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next?

His last outing might have been a debacle at the box-office but there seems to be very little to dampen the spirits of Vishal Bhardwaj as he is all geared up for his next.
This time, keeping aside his favourite Shakespearean tales, Vishal is reportedly planning a small budget comedy film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kriti Sanon. However, things reportedly didn’t seem to have worked out with the ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ actress.
According to reports, Kriti has been replaced by Aditi Rao Hydari who has apparently loved the script of the film. The ‘Bhoomi’ actress is said to be in advanced talks with the makers and is most likely to sign the dotted lines soon.
The film where Nawazuddin and Aditi will reportedly be seen together for the first time will start rolling in the coming months.

When Shah Rukh Khan embarked on a two-hour road trip to meet Juhi Chawla in Austria

Good-old friends Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla recently had a reunion of sorts over a cup of hot chocolate in Austria. The actors who have remained great friends since they worked together in films like 'Duplicate', 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman', 'Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani' and 'Darr' caught up with each other recently and had a gala time together. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Juhi happened to be in Austria while SRK who was in the European country for work, embarked on a two-hour road trip to meet Juhi when she informed him that she was in the country too with husband Jai Mehta, daughter Jahnvi and son Arjun. The report further suggested that Shah Rukh sat with Juhi and her family at the coffee shop of the hotel they were staying at and caught up over endless cups of hot chocolate. It was followed by a spot of shopping at a local store next to the property, where the group picked up some local artefacts to bring back home.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to team up for a film?

Real-life couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lit up the big screen when they teamed up in ‘Guru’ among other films. It’s a pity we haven’t seen the two share screen space since their last outing together in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’ in 2010. But here’s some good news for their fans. According to reports, Abhishek and Aishwarya are likely to come together for a project titled ‘Gulab Jamun’. The film will apparently be produced by Anurag Kashyap’s Phantom Films while it will be helmed by a debutant director. If the two indeed sign the project, it will be a film that their fans will look forward to with bated breath.

Abhishek and Aishwarya have previously worked in seven films together – ‘Dhai Akshar Prem Ke’, ‘Kuch Naa Kaho’, ‘Umrao Jaan’, ‘Dhoom 2’, ‘Guru’, ‘Sarkar Raj’ and ‘Raavan’. Ash even made a cameo appearance in Abhishek’s ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ where the two grooved to ‘Kajra re’.

Alia Bhatt opens up on Zoya Akhtar’s next with Ranveer Singh

Alia Bhatt is currently the toast of the town. And with good reason. After winning appreciation for her performances in ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and ‘Udta Punjab’, the actress is now gearing up for her next ‘Dear Zindagi’ – the promos of which have already garnered a positive response. Rumours of her being cast opposite Ranveer Singh in Zoya Akhtar’s next are also doing the rounds.

At a recent media interaction, the actress was asked whether she had been signed on for the Zoya-directed movie, titled ‘Gully Boys’. Alia, with her typical candour, stated that she’d “love to be in any gully with Ranveer and Zoya”. She further added that she would very happy to be a part of the project.

We have already witnessed Ranveer and Alia’s chemistry in an advertisement campaign for a travel portal. Now, let’s hope we get to see the duo on the big screen together.

Deepika or Priyanka - who will romance Chinese actor Deng Chao?

Now that Bollywood filmmakers have called it quits as far as working with Pakistani artistes is concerned, the next favourite of our B-town directors seems to be another neighbouring country, China. It’s a well-known fact that Salman Khan will be seen romancing Chinese actor Zhu Zhu in Kabir Khan’s next, ‘Tubelight’. And if all goes well, either Deepika Padukone or Priyanka Chopra would be seen romancing Chinese star Deng Chao in Siddharth Anand’s next directorial venture, 'Love In Beijing', which is a cross-cultural love story wherein a Chinese man falls in love with an Indian girl. Yes, you are right, the plot is opposite to that of ‘Tubelight’ wherein an Indian man will be seen romancing a Chinese girl. In his recent statement, Siddharth said that he wants an actress who already has great international presence and appeal. Although he didn’t mention any names, it’s not difficult to guess that it could be either Deepika or Priyanka, considering both are all set to take Hollywood by storm with their respective debuts, 'xXx: Return Of Xander Cage' and 'Baywatch'.

Shraddha Kapoor confirms not doing 'Golmaal Again' opposite Ajay Devgn

Bollywood's hit machine Rohit Shetty is all set to wield the megaphone for the fourth installment of his superhit franchise, 'Golmaal' and there had been strong rumours doing the rounds that Shraddha Kapoor would play the lead and romance Ajay Devgn in 'Golmaal Again'. However, in a recent statement given to a tabloid, the actor rubbishes all the rumours and clarified it once and for all that she won't be a part 'Golmaal Again'. Shraddha said the reports doing the rounds about she being the lead in 'Golmaal Again' are untrue. The actress, who is currently shooting for 'Half Girlfriend' opposite Arjun Kapoor in Varanasi, reinstated that after the Haseena Parker biopic, she hasn't signed any film. Shraddha even mentioned that she would love to work with Rohit Shetty in the future but 'Golmaal Again' is definitely not that film. Interestingly, Alia Bhatt was all set to step into Kareena Kapoor Khan's shoes, but owing to the box office war between her mentor Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and Ajay Devgn's 'Shivaay', she decided to back out of 'Golmaal Again'.

Katrina wants to work with Alia in the remake of this Hollywood classic

In one of her recent interviews, Alia Bhatt had expressed keen interest in working with Katrina in the female version of 'Dil Chahta Hai' and even said that she had been asking director Farhan Akhtar to make a female version of 'DCH' soon. However, Katrina feels otherwise. The 'Fitoor' actress wants to do a film like the 1991 Hollywood classic and Academy Award winner, 'Thelma and Louise' with Alia Bhatt. Yes, you read that right. Katrina feels a better film for her to collaborate with Alia would be the Hindi remake of the Ridley Scott directorial. Here's who Ranveer Singh wants to 'bromance' in 'Dostana 2'

We all loved Abhishek Bachchan - John Abraham starrer 'Dostana' that released in 2008, didn't we? And we all have been waiting for a sequel to this comic entertainer since quite some time. Now whether this sequel will happen in the near future or not, is something only Karan Johar can tell us, but as far as his casting woes are concerned, Ranveer Singh has come to his rescue. Interestingly, Ranveer wants to 'romance' or rather bromance Arjun Kapoor in the sequel to Tarun Mansukhani's directorial. Harshvardhan ‘loves’ Alia and is ‘dying’ to work with Priyanka

Bollywood debutante Harshvardhan Kapoor is holding his breath as he waits for the box office results of his film ‘Mirzya’. The Kapoor lad, who has been out promoting his romantic drama across all media platforms, admitted that he didn’t quite like the tiring film promotions. In a recent interview, the 25-year-old actor revealed that he is ‘dying’ to work with Priyanka Chopra. Salman and Riteish to collaborate again after 'Lai Bhaari'?

Riteish Deshmukh's last Marathi release, 'Lai Bhaari' broke box office records and was an out-and-out commercial masala entertainer that saw the actor essaying double role for the first time which became the USP of the film. However, another talking point in the film was Salman Khan's cameo in the movie. And if all goes well, Salman would be seen in a pivotal role in Riteish's next, which is said to be a biopic on the greatest Maratha King and warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The movie will be directed by Ravi Jadhav who has also directed Riteish's latest flick 'Banjo' apart from making some path-breaking, National Award-winning movies in Marathi cinema. As per latest reports, Salman asked Riteish to cast him in the film and in fact said that he would love to play a role in the film without even knowing what role Riteish would offer him. In a statement to a web portal, Riteish said that it was gracious of Salman to offer to play a part in the film without even knowing what part he will play. He further said he respects the faith Salman has in him and his friendship. However, the actor refused to divulge any details about the film saying it was too early to comment anything on the film right now.

Here's why Kangana Ranaut won't star opposite SRK in Aanand L Rai's next

National award winning actress Kangana Ranaut has come a long way without starring in a big ticket Khan film. Needless to say, it wouldn’t cause much harm to actually see her romance one of Bollywood’s leading Khans on the big screen. Rumours were running wild that the star might just bag a part opposite Shah Rukh Khan, in Anand L Rai’s next. However, if latest reports are to be believed, the actress has lost out the coveted part to ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ star Katrina Kaif.

According to online reports, director Rai did not want to cast two ‘headstrong personalities’ in his film. The report goes on to state that Kangana likes to collaborate with the script, costume and other departments which the director feels might cause some friction.

Katrina will reportedly sign the film within a few days. If things go as planned, this film that will see SRK play a dwarf will be the second time he pairs up with Katrina on the big screen after ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. The untitled film has been slated for a December 2018 release.

Katrina Kaif opts of out SRK's next because of Deepika Padukone?

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's first ever collaboration with acclaimed filmmaker Aanand L Rai has evoked enough excitement among his fans for various reasons. Now, as per the reports, the latest development in the story is that Rai has already signed Deepika Padukone for one of the parallel female leads and the after-effect of this is that Katrina Kaif, who Rai was also in talks with for another equally prominent role, has opted out of the film. Here's why Parineeti and Sonakshi refused to work opposite Arjun Kapoor

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor is not too happy these days. Well the reason is more professional than personal this time. Reportedly, his ex-flame Sonakshi Sinha and his debut co-star Parineeti Chopra have refused to star opposite him in Anees Bazmee's next multi-starrer, 'Mubaraka' that has Arjun playing twin role in it. But before you jump the gun, let us tell you that the reason behind Sona and Pari's refusal too is purely professional and not personal. The reason why they both turned down the offer to act in the film is because firstly, Arjun will be seen playing a double role and secondly and more importantly, director Anees Bazmee has already cast three heroines in the film - Athiya Shetty, Ileana D'Cruz and Amy Jackson. If that wasn't enough, the film also has Arjun's real uncle Anil Kapoor essaying the character of his uncle on reel. Now these were big enough reasons for any established actress to develop cold feet if offered to play a role in such a star-studded film. Reportedly, the role was first offered to Parineeti and after she refused to do it, Anees and Arjun approached Sonakshi, who too felt that the role wasn't meatier enough and hence turned it down.

Kartik Aryan and Diana Penty to star in 'Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge' sequel

Kartik Aryan of 'Pyar Ka Punchnama' fame has been on cloud 9 since the time the second installment of his much talked-about film became successful. The actor has more reasons than one to be merry as he, along with Diana Penty, has been roped in for Ashwini Dhir's next project, a sequel to Madhur Bhandarkar’s slice-of-life comedy, 'Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge'. Deepika to not romance Salman in 'Tubelight'?

We know you guys have already started praying and hoping that this news be untrue. But looks like the fact is otherwise. If reports are to be believed, Deepika Padukone, who was almost onboard Kabir Khan's next directorial 'Tubelight' starring Salman Khan, will not be a part of the film any more. Now the next obvious question is who would get to romance the 'Sultan' star this time? Well it's none of the B-town babes. Reportedly, a Chinese actor has already been signed to play Salman's heroine in the period film which is based on the Indo-Chinese war. For those who came in late, Deepika always wanted to work with Salman but on the condition that she gets to play a meatier role in the film as she didn't want to be cast just to add the glam quotient. While Kabir was always keen to have her on board, Salman wanted a Chinese actor to be cast opposite him because he thought it would do justice to the story. And there is an unwritten rule in the industry that when Bhai says something, it has to happen. Salman, after shooting a promo for Bigg Boss 10 today, will leave for Ladakh where he will begin the first schedule of 'Tubelight'.

Now that Madhuri is even working with another opponent Juhi Chawla in 'Gulaab Gang', maybe Sridevi and her combination can be considered too.

Although, the two have worked together in a host of Tamil films but their stint in Bollywood together could go a notch higher. Kamal and Rajini were rivals of their time, they even starred in a Hindi film 'Geraftaar' but never shared the same frame in this one. While Kamal Haasan is considered a legend, Rajini Sir has gone ahead and become a cult figure. We wonder how crazy fans of both would react once they seal a deal.

While Ranbir proved his worth as an actor with films like 'Barfi!' and 'Rockstar', Ranveer showed his mettle in 'Lootera' and 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela'. Other than their lovable personalities, spiffy looks and acting prowess; they have a certain Deepika Padukone in common too. While Ranbir dated Deepika for a few years, buzz about Deepika and Ranveer's romance is strong currently. It would be a catch to get these two together.

Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn together in the same film seems an almost impossible feat to achieve. There was never a friendship between these two even though Shah Rukh and Ajay's wife Kajol are good friends and have given their career's best performances opposite each other. Their rivalry goes a long way and maybe even escalated when SRK's 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' and Ajay's 'Son Of Sardaar' released on the same Friday in 2012. The last straw was when Ajay's best buddy and director Rohit Shetty chose to do a film with Shah Rukh Khan instead and went on to deliver a blockbuster with 'Chennai Express'. However, Ajay and SRK worked together in 'Kaal' where Ajay was the actor and Shah Rukh the producer. It would be the coming together of Hindi cinema's best romantic hero SRK with the finest action hero Ajay Devgn if these two are cast together. However, who will be daring enough to approach them?
