Varun Dhawan’s marriage to Natasha Dalal in 2020 has been the hottest news to make its way out of B-town. But, while fans and well-wishers eagerly await an official announcement on the same, this ‘Coolie No.1’ still of the hunk with his beautiful co-star Sara Ali Khan should do.

The New Year brought with it a cute photo of the on-screen couple in full bridal attire as they posed outside a church. With Varun looking dashing in a white suit and Sara looking like the perfect modern bride in a short sheer dress, this is certainly one white wedding we can’t wait to attend.

Although unclear if we will witness a big fat wedding in this comical tale, one thing’s for sure – it will be interesting.

Directed by David Dhawan, ‘Coolie No. 1’, which marks Varun and Sara’s first film outing, will hit screens on May 1, 2020.

After ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Simmba’, Sara Ali Khan is all set to impress the audience by stepping into the shoes of Karisma Kapoor in the official remake of David Dhawan’s ‘Coolie No. 1’ with Varun Dhawan.

The young actress recently opened up about her experience working with Varun and needless to say she was all praise for the actor. Speaking about the same, Sara reportedly said that it has been her dream to work with Varun. She revealed that he is a completely crazy person on the sets. She is also awestruck by the amount of energy Varun has on the sets and mentioned that she is always inspired by him.

Coolie No 1 remake also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajat Rawail, Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever in pivotal roles.

Apart from this, Sara will also be seen in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s next. The film has been tentatively titled, ‘Aaj Kal’. She will be seen sharing screen space with her ex-beau Kartik Aaryan in the movie.

‘Aaj Kal’ is touted to be the sequel of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Love Aaj Kal’.

Father-son duo David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan, are all set to collaborate once again for 'Coolie No 1', a remake of the 1995. While the remake will star Varun and Sara Ali Khan in the lead, reports are rife that the makers have also roped in actor Anupam Kher.

According to reports, Anupam will be seen taking on Kader Khan's role of playing Karisma Kapoor’s father in the original. There have also been talks about veteran star Paresh Rawal coming on-board for the film.

Anupam had been a regular in Dhawan's film during the 1990s and 'Judwaa 2', where he played Jacqueline Fernandez’ reel life father.

'Coolie No. 1' is expected to release on May 1, 2020.

Shahid Kapoor has once again left his fans intrigued and wanting for more with the trailer of his upcoming film, ‘Kabir Singh’. The actor will be seen in a challenging and interesting role in the film along with Kiara Advani.

Ahead of the film’s release on June 21, Shahid and Kiara have been on a promotional spree of late. The actor also took to his Instagram handle to share a sketch of his character from the film and needless to say the actor looks dashing as ever in the picture.

The film narrates the love story of Kabir and Preeti, and how they overcome all the hurdles and find their happily ever after.

‘Kabir Singh’ is the official Hindi remake of Telugu film, ‘Arjun Reddy’ which starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in the lead roles. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who helmed the original film, has directed the remake too.

After ‘Judwaa’, filmmaker David Dhawan is all set to make an official remake of yet another of his films and this time it is Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer, ‘Coolie No. 1’. While the remake will star Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead, reports are rife that the makers have also roped in actor Paresh Rawal.

According to reports, Paresh Rawal will be seen essaying the role of Kader Khan in the film who played the character of Karisma’s father in the original film.

Earlier, speaking about being a part of the remake, Varun had reportedly told IANS, “I feel honoured, grateful and uncontrollably excited to be a part of the remake! That's the next challenge that I'm ready to take up.”

Varun also recently took to his Instagram handle to share the first look. The picture showcased a badge saying NO. 1 licensed porter. Kiara Advani, who has been on a roll bagging some big ticket film projects, has now begun work on her next with Akshay Kumar titled ‘Laaxmi Bomb’.

This exciting news comes just days after a leaked photo from the sets revealed the official title of the film. Said to be a Hindi adaptation of Tamil horror-comedy ‘Kanchana’, the film will be directed by Raghava Lawrence who had written, helmed as well as played the lead role in the original.

This will mark the actress’ second collaboration with Akshay after ‘Good News’ that also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh. Meanwhile, the film also marks Akki's return to the horror genre after 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'.

Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in 'Kabir Singh', a remake of Telugu hit film 'Arjun Reddy'. The makers recently dropped the teaser of the film and it received a tremendous response. Everyone praised Shahid for his performance.

Fans even said that he is the best choice for the role.

Also, 'Baahubali' actor Prabhas praised Shahid after he watched the teaser of the film.

Varun Dhawan, who recently impressed us with his stellar performance in Abhishek Varman's 'Kalank' turns a year older today and the makers of his next film have officially released a statement ending all the speculations which were making rounds on the internet.

"It's official... After 25 years David Dhawan and Vashu Bhagnani come back together to adapt their timeless comedy, 'Coolie No 1'. The film starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan begins shoot this August," a statement from the makers read.

Speculations making rounds were that Sara, who made her Bollywood debut with 'Kedarnath', would be playing the female lead opposite Varun in the modern adaptation of the hit comedy which starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead.

This film will also mark the second collaboration of Varun and David on the silver screen as the father-son duo had joined hands for 'Judwaa 2'.

Tara Sutaria who will be making her Bollywood debut in Punit Malhotra's 'Student of the Year 2' has already signed her next film. After 'SOTY2', Tara will be starring in the remake of South film 'RX100'. The film marks the debut of Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty.

Well, apart from her acting skills, she is also good at singing. And, according to the latest reports, Tara will croon a romantic song for her film with Ahan.

Reportedly, the song will be picturised on her. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala talked about this idea with the director, Milan Luthria. When the makers informed about the new development to Tara, she quickly agreed to the same. The actress has done training in vocals and also want to release an album in future.

Meanwhile, Tara's debut film co-starring Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday will hit the theatres on May 10.

After reprising the role of Salman Khan in the remake of his film ‘Judwaa’, Varun Dhawan is all set to step into the shoes of Govinda in the upcoming remake of ‘Coolie No. 1’ which will also star Sara Ali Khan playing the role of Karisma Kapoor in the film.

Now, according to the latest reports, the makers are all set to incorporate the reprised versions of the popular songs ‘Main Toh Raste Se Jaa raha Tha’ and ‘Husn Hai Suhana’ in the remake version of the film. The producers will reportedly not remix these songs as they are still popular today among the masses.

It is also being reportedly said that we might not see Varun's character in the Coolie uniform like the original one because in today's times, no coolie wears red and white uniform and instead prefers jeans and t-shirts.

The actor will not spend maximum time on the platform, as Govinda did in the original one. The comedy situations will be placed outside the station once his profession gets established.

The film will be directed by David Dhawan, who also helmed the original one.

Varun Dhawan who is all set for the release of his upcoming film 'Kalank' recently talked about his next film, the remake of 1995 comedy film 'Coolie no. 1'.

In a recent interview, when he was asked about the film, he said that he wanted to do this film because when he watched it, he found it absolutely entertaining. He said that it is one of the funniest films he has ever watched. He also stated that the film had an amazing screenplay and actors, however, they are adopting it and not making a remake.

He also added that he want to try and bring that kind of fun back on screens and hence his director-father David Dhawan agreed to do it.

The actor added that his father has changed a lot of things and has challenged himself also.

Meanwhile, 'Kalank' will hit the theatres on April 07.

It was earlier reported that Akshay Kumar will star in Bollywood remake of director Raghava Lawrence's hit Tamil film 'Kanchana'. Now latest reports suggest that Kiara Advani and R Madhavan have been roped in to star alongside the Akshay Kumar in the horror comedy.

Earlier, reports had suggested that the makers were keen on casting Kiara Advani in the film. Reportedly, Kiara has liked the script of the film. R Madhavan has also given his nod to join the team. This film will see Madhavan making his comeback to Bollywood films after a long time. According to reports, the film will go on the floors in April this year. The film is slated to hit the screen next year. It is to be seen whether the film will be directed by Raghava Lawrence himself.

The Singham Returns again! But this time it's on the Punjabi screens. The blockbuster film franchise which started in the Tamil industry and was eventually picked up by Bollywood and later adapted in other southern languages is all set to get a Punjabi remake. The film rolls starting today, and the Singham himself, actor Ajay Devgn has took to his Instagram to wish the team good luck.

After starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, ‘Padmaavat’ and now recently in Shree Narayan Singh’s ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, actor Shahid Kapoor is currently on a roll. The actor, who will next be seen in the Hindi remake of Telugu film, ‘Arjun Reddy’, is currently sporting a different look.

After her magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’, Deepika Padukone is yet to sign any project and has mainly been in the headlines for her rumoured marriage with Ranveer Singh. However, reports are now rife that the leggy lass will be collaborating with filmmaker Meghna Gulzar of ‘Raazi’ fame for her next.

According to the reports, Deepika Padukone will be teaming up with Meghna Gulzar for a project. While no details regarding the same has been revealed, the two have reportedly began the talks on the same.

There were also reports in the past that Deepika has been approached for the remake of ‘Chaalbaaz’ that originally starred Sridevi, Sunny Deol and Rajinikanth. Now, if this project by Meghna has anything to do with the movie on the twins is yet to be seen.

Recently, it came to light that producer Prernaa Arora is reportedly buying the remake rights of Rekha starrer 1978 classic 'Ghar'. There were even talks of casting already in progress. Now, the producer has finally broken her silence on the issue. Clarifying on the rumours, Prernaa and co-producer Arjun Kapoor issued a joint statement that said, “We are in conversation to buy the film rights and have to yet finalize it. We will announce it as and when it happens, we request your patience till we officially announce it.” 'Ghar' is a story about a newly married woman who is gang raped and had received critical acclaim when it released back in the day.

It was reported for quite some time that film producer Prerna Arora is coming up with a remake of Manoj Kumar and Sadhana starrer 'Woh Kaun Thi'. Initial reports suggested that the film will feature none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the leading role. Recently, reports doing the rounds that Aishwarya has been dropped from the project and Bipasha Basu will replace her. Prerna cleared the air and commented on Aishwarya leaving the project.

In an official statement, Prerna said, "It is extremely discouraging and disappointing at the same time that so much is being speculated and written about a film that is not yet officially announced or declared by the production house. Therefore, I request everyone to not to believe in any rumours and also to stop speculating anything further. We request your patience as an official announcement on the cast of the film will be out in time."

Bollywood has seen its fair share of remakes over the past few years and it appears that the trend isn’t going away any time soon. According to reports, the latest remake in the works seems to be Rekha and Vinod Mehra starrer 1978 film ‘Ghar’. The film, directed by Manik Chatterjee, is likely to get a reboot. If reports are to be believed, producer Prernaa Arora has bought the remake rights.

The film, about a newly-married woman, who is gang raped, was critically acclaimed when it released. Reportedly, the makers are in the process of selecting the cast.

Remakes of South films is the new trend in Bollywood. And Sushant Singh Rajput is the new addition to the list. Reportedly, the actor has shown his interest in a Malayalam film. He now has his own production house under which he has already announced a few films and one of them is the Malayalam movie titled 'Bangalore Days'.

The story of the film revolves around three cousins who reunite in Banglore after many years. It is being reported that Sushant would love the character played by Nivin Pauly who is shown as an engineer in the film. The actor is currently in talks with the producer Vivek Rangachari who has the rights for the Hindi remake.

The story revolves around a man, who is on his way back home with a cake to celebrate his daughter's birthday and while on his way, he has to drive through a tunnel, which suddenly collapses.

The drama enfolds when he gets up and finds himself trapped in a car under tons of concrete and debris. His struggle to survive and reach home is what the story is all about.

We expect a power packed performer to play the lead role in the movie.

Sushant Singh Rajput has a string of films lined up and one such anticipated film is the Hindi adaptation of 'The Fault in Our Stars' titled 'Kizzie Aur Manny'. The film will act as a launch vehicle for newcomer Sanjana Sanghi into Bollywood.

The movie which is originally based on a beautiful love story penned in a novel by author John Green, talks about two young people battling cancer and how they serenade to love.

Yesterday, the makers announced the official poster of the movie titled ‘Kizie Aur Manny’. The author of ‘The Fault in our Stars’ John Green very sweetly tweeted and said, “I want to see this movie more than I have ever wanted to see any movie.”

To this, Sushant Singh Rajput who plays the lead actor in the film, too replied and said, “It’s such a wonderful book John, thanks once again for writing it, and we shall try our best not to let you down. Sushant will be sharing the screen with Sanjana Sanghi in ‘Kizie Aur Manny’. Sanjana was seen briefly in ‘Rockstar’, ‘Hindi Medium’ and ‘Fukrey Returns’, and is now all set to make a full-fledged appearance in the Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut.

It is a known fact that Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput are expecting their second child this year. During this time Shahid Kapoor wants to by Mira's side. Shahid who will soon begin with the prepping of 'Arjun Reddy' remake has apparently asked the makers of the film if they could start the schedule early so that he could take a month-long break as his paternity leave.

According to a report by a tabloid, director Sandeep Vanga and his team understand Shahid's priorities and have decided to build a set in Mumbai for the first schedule of the film. The makers have decided to prepone the schedule of the film so that it does not clash with Mira’s delivery date.

Coming back to the remake the film will revolve around the story of Arjun and the issues he suffers after a heartbreak. Reports have it that Shahid Kapoor will be training for MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) for the same. Reportedly 'Student of the Year 2' actress, Tara Sutaria will be paired opposite Shahid Kapoor in the film. However official announcements are yet to be made.

Shahid Kapoor whose last release ‘Padmaavat’ earned immense popularity is currently busy shooting for ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ alongside Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. Recently there were reports of him being a part of the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’.

While the director of the film Sandeep Reddy Vanga had earlier confirmed Shahid’s involvement in ‘Arjun Reddy’, the actor revealed that it might happen but nothing is confirmed as of now. Speaking to a media portal Shahid revealed that he’s very excited to learn that the project might come to him and that once confirmed he will also make an official announcement about the same.

When Shahid was told about the director’s quote, he quipped about the filmmaker’s choice being right. Director Sandeep Vanga revealed that remaking one’s own film is 10 times tougher. He also revealed to a daily that Shahid has apparently started prepping for the role. As per reports, he will be playing the role of a medical student with anger management issues.

Vanga also revealed that Shahid has, in fact, watched the original movie a couple of times before. The director-actor due had attended the screening of the film together in Mumbai to understand the nuances of the character better. They also had a discussion about the nitty-gritties of the film and the character that Shahid will be portraying.

Reportedly, Shahid will attend workshops that will help him adapt the behavioural change to depict the angst and anger of the character, after wrapping up the shoot of ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’. He will also have to undergo a physical transformation to look like a final year medical student. The director is hoping to take the film on floors by July.

Rohit Shetty’s directorial ‘Simmba’ starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan is one of the most anticipated films of 2018. An out-and-out commercial film, ‘Simmba’ is a Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Temper’. Though Ranveer has to start shooting for ‘Simmba’ as he is busy wrapping up ‘Gully Boy’, as per latest reports Rohit Shetty claimed that the music of the movie is almost complete.

Speaking to a media portal, Rohit said, that Karan Johar is looking into the music of the film. Expressing their excitement for the film, he said, that they have managed to finish the title track.

Apart from Ranveer and Sara, Sonu Sood will also be a part of this action flick. Speaking about his role Sonu said the "challenging" role will make him do a lot of homework. The announcement about Sonu's entry into the ‘Simmba’ cast came right after R. Madhavan clarified about him not being able to be a part of the movie owing to his shoulder injury.

The movie is slated to release on December 28th.
