After back to back hit films, Ranveer Singh to get profit share in his next projects?
Ranveer Singh gave a blockbuster film 'Padmaavat' at the beginning of the year 2018 and his year ended with Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba' which was again a major hit. Now, his latest release co-starring Alia Bhatt has also turned out to be a super hit.
Well, without any doubt, Ranveer's stardom has reached a new level. And the more the stardom, the more the fees. Reportedly, the actor has joined the elite stars league where the A-list actors get a share in the profit of the film's success along with their acting fees.
Reportedly, producers are ready to pay the actor a handsome remuneration and profit share too. This is a common practice with most of the top actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and more.
Now that Ranveer has entered in this league of actors, he is also being offered a similar agreement. Producers are not hesitant to give him a big margin in the profits.
Also, he has already signed his next films 'Takht' and '83', however, it is being said that his remuneration is being reconsidered now.
However, the reports also stated that Ranveer is not being unreasonable about the same. His focus and priority are to create the best content.
Ranveer Singh lends his voice for ‘Deadpool 2’ in Hindi
However, it has been learnt that the dates were subsequently worked out to accommodate him. Reportedly, a dubbing artist had already recorded for the Hindi trailer of the film that released last month, but the production house believed that Ranveer would be the only actor to match the quirkiness that Deadpool’s character is known for, and Ranveer’s popularity will help expand the film’s reach in India.
Ranveer Singh rejects Rs 2 crore offer for wedding appearance
According to reports, the actor was recently approached to make an appearance at a wedding. The organisers wanted him to be at the occasion for 30 minutes and were offering him a whopping amount of Rs 2 crore for it.
While such offers are difficult to resist, Ranveer apparently declined the offer. The actor is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ and he reportedly felt that this would distract him from the shoot.
Given the fact that Ranveer is known to get into the skin of the character he plays, for him to pull off this appearance would reportedly mean him wrapping up the shoot, flying to a different city and returning the same night to report to the set at the crack of dawn the following day. Doing that, he wouldn’t have got any time to rest. So, he reportedly told his team that he would like to concentrate on performing his role better than focus on the money offered and asked them to decline it.
Here's how Ranveer Singh copes with "success" and "failure"
When quizzed about how he deals with success and failure, the actor reportedly stated that although he's "enjoying" the moment, he doesn't get too "carried away with success" and doesn't "get bogged down by failure" either. He apparently believes in delivering his "promise to the audience".
According to reports, Ranveer added that he has "pledged" himself to try and be the "best entertainer" that he can possibly be.
Pic: Ranveer Singh looks regal yet fierce in his Khilji character look from 'Padmaavat'
Taking to Twitter, the 'Gully Boy' actor shared his look where he can be seen in his Khilji avatar, with long hair braids and an ear piercing. Ranveer certainly looks regal while maintaining the fierceness of his character. In fact, it would remind one of the characters from Peter Jackson’s 'Hobbit' trilogy which is, in turn, a compliment for the makeup and costume team who have done a phenomenal job in crafting the perfect look.
That said, the film has also been working wonders at the box-office. Apart from breaking a number of long-standing records, it has also crossed the Rs 400 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
