On KJo's chat show, the actor said that he got a hop during the narration of the film. He said that he got a "fulleshwari" when Aurangzeb and Hirabai scene happened.
The filmmaker then revealed that Ranveer is not even the part of that scene. Ranveer will be seen playing the role of Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, in the period drama.
The actor further quipped that it's the power of Karan's writing that he got a "fulleshwari" in narration only. He praised the filmmaker for the same.

Kareena had earlier rejected Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela which turned out to be a blockbuster and Ranveer was probably referring to the same thing in his comment.

Ranveer Singh was once an ardent fan of Kareena Kapoor Khan. However, according to a report in Filmfare, Ranveer Singh doesn't feel the rush of excitement for the actress now as his feelings have waned. The actor has been quoted in the report as saying that while in the past, he was effusive about his admiration, he didn't do anything wrong. In a recent interview with Filmfare, when asked if he was not excited about Kareena as an actress anymore, Ranveer stated that he thinks Kareena is a great actor, who is still unexplored and confesses that he was always an admirer of her work and wants to see her doing substantial roles.

The actor who jumped straight out of the hospital bed and landed straight on the sets, admitted that he'd been extremely anxious about being back on the sets, the report stated. "I was extremely nervous when I drove down to the shoot. I had not faced the camera in two-and-a-half months and I was having a near meltdown," Ranveer confided to Mirror. "As I always do in times like these, I called up my father." Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, who is a friend and confidante of his actor son, gave him a long pep talk. "My father was very reassuring and told me that it was just like swimming," the report quoted the actor. His dad drew a parallel between acting and swimming and pointed out to Ranveer that a child is nervous till he hits the water after which he's absolutely fine. "He assured me I'd be just fine. I heard him out, reached the set, put on my costume and I immediately felt like the great Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao. After that I went out there and nailed it," said Ranveer, adding with a cheeky smile, "Mr Bhansali liked my shot."
