Prateik Babbar is all set to tie the knot with Sanya Sagar in Lucknow. The couple got engaged last year on Basant Panchami. Now, a picture from their Mehendi and Haldi ceremony has surfaced over the internet.

In the picture, Prateik can be seen wearing a Sherwani while Sanya is looking pretty in a beautiful yellow ensemble. The smile on their faces tells us how happy the couple is!

Vrajesh Hirjee ties the knot

Vrajesh Hirjee, who's featured prominently in Rohit Shetty's Golmaal series and Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaho Na Pyar Hai, tied the knot with Rohini Banerjee, his girlfriend of seven years, at a private ceremony on the 17th of October.

The couple got hitched at the bride's Mumbai residence. “It was an intimate affair with only 35-40 family members and friends in attendance. All the arrangements were made in the last six days; we didn't even have the time to print out invitation cards," admits the newlywed actor, adding that since his father-in-law is a senior captain in the merchant navy, they had to plan the wedding at a time when he wasn't sailing, to explain the frantic run-up to his D-Day.

Vrajesh and Rohini met while doing a play together, and have been living with each other for the last four years. “There was never any pressure from our parents to get married," he asserts.

The wedding ceremony was a traditional Bengali one, even though Vrajesh is from the Kutchi community. “My wife is a Bengali and most of their rituals are similar to ours. It was a beautiful wedding," says the 44-year-old actor, who resumed work on Monday.

No honeymoon on the cards? “We have been travelling a lot and may go to Rajasthan towards the month-end, but we're definitely going to Leh in mid-January," he reveals.

Has anything changed postmarriage? “It's just been a day, but I have to admit that the heart does beat faster on an occasion like this. However, I am sure it is going to be lovely. We kind of complete each other," he says bashfully.

Sameera Reddy marries Akshai Varde: Sameera Reddy and Akshai Varde tied the knot in a low key wedding on January 21. It was a private affair attended by family and close friends. Sameera looked beautiful in a silk saree by Neeta Lulla and henna covered hands, while Akshai added a zing to his traditional ensemble by taking a cool ride on a customised Vardenchi motorcycle to the wedding mandap, reports bollywoodlife.com. Arijit Singh weds Koel Roy: Singer Arijit Singh got married to his childhood friend Koel Roy in January. Arijit, who burst onto Bollywood with Aashiqui 2 and followed it up with a bouquet of hit songs in both Bengal and Mumbai, secretly tied the knot in a hush-hush affair, with only the duo's family and close friends turning up to bless the couple, reports TOI. Both Arijit and Koel hail from Jiaganj in Murshidabad, West Bengal. A source close to the couple said to TOI, "The two of them had a mannat at the Kali temple, which is why the wedding was held there. Both the families had their consent in this marriage." After the wedding, the couple travelled to Kolkata, before flying back to Mumbai to attend the Filmfare Awards. Apparently, Koel has a baby girl from her previous marriage and the child is apparently very fond of Arijit.

Speaking to Indian Express, he revealed that he was hurt due to several broken relationships and betrayals and hence became superstitious about his marriage plans. Quoting a friend close to the actor, the report adds that Aftab has always been taken for ride in his relations until he met Nin. It is only because of her that his faith in the institution of love and marriage has been restored. However, because of his past he is very protective about her and does not want to lose her at any cost. Hence, he decided to have a small, secret wedding ceremony with only his parents to avoid getting jinxed.

Vir Das weds Shivani Mathur: After a five-year courtship, actor Vir Das tied the knot with girlfriend Shivani Mathur. The marriage took place in October, but the couple broke the news in November. The 100-odd guests included childhood friends from all over the world. Most of them were comedians and all of them went on stage and performed a few gags. “I wrote my bride a song and performed it live to loud cheers," Vir Das said to Mumbai Mirror, adding that his missus and he are now back to the daily grind.
